Does anyone know the name of the group that performed for the roast, they sand the song "Sweet Home Alabama"? The show was on last night, I laugh all the way thru it.. Great stuff. That Lisa Lamppinelly (sorry if thats misspelled) is so funny. The show wasn't long enough at all. I could have sat there another 2 hours laughing at them. Im not sure what all of their names where, but they all did a great job.. I wasn't real sure what I thought about Anna Nichole, kinda surprised me to see here there, but as usual, she is a beautiful lady. I'm sure Jeff enjoyed it..Dr.Phil was as always, Dr.Phil.. I liked the humor he threw out to us as well.. Well thanks for taking the time to read this, if anyone knows the name of the band that performed on the show, could you please respond to this or email me @ gwall501@comcast.net... Thanks again gwall501
I just finished watching the Jeff Foxworthy Roast. I am an old electrician, but after watching that show, I am convinced that I have a future in Comedy. (Feel free to use that). In all honesty, I never miss an episode of the Blue Collar Show. It pleases me and my wife that you and Bill and Larry and Ron can be so rollin-on-the-floor, kick-ass funny without the use of profanity and disgusting humor that seems to be so popular these days. I am a little annoyed, though, that Larry keeps stealing my fart jokes. But, hey, it's all in good fun. And if I ever see Ron in a bar,.......well, bbbrrrrrrrr. Thanks for being yourselves fellas and the last words I want to hear on my death bed are, "GIT R DONE".
I am a big fan of Jeff Foxworthy. The Blue Collar Tour movies and Blue Collar TV are hilarious. Unfortunately, this roast did not follow in their foot steps. I, usually, think Larry the Cable Guy is very funny, but not this time. His comments about Corky from Life Goes On were totally uncalled for. To make such a comment about a person born with Down Syndrome was in poor taste. His comment about Christopher Reeve sat badly with me, also. If I was a member of Mr. Reeve's family I would have liked it even less than I did. Several made comments about Jeff's 'clean' comedy, but they chose not to follow in his footsteps by repeating such words as f**k over and over. When will they learn four letter words are not what makes a comedian. This show put down others more than it did Jeff Foxworthy. It attacked those with Down Syndrome, Mexicans, gays and, of course, the South, as well as others. If you were a comedian on this show, you might want to take lessons from Mr. Jeff Foxworthy. This show fell short of the usual Foxworthy standards.
I saw this Roast and I was laughing from start to end. This was the greatest comedy show ever!!! I am so glad Comedy Central put this on. They included some very funny people from the rest of the Blue Collar Comedy people, to Colin Quinn, to Dennis Leary. I could not help myself it was so funny.
It makes the old Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts look old-fashioned (but they're still funny as well). They were able to bring together the funniest group of comics that could adequately roast Jeff Foxworthy like he deserved to be. Most of the stuff that was said was really funny, and I enjoyed it.

People need to lighten up...This roast definitely wasn't the funniest but it was funny.... I'm not a fan of Jeff Foxworthy or any of his "Blue Collar" Buddies, but I am a fan of several of the roasters that were there.... I never found anything that Larry the Cable Guy said remotely funny before I heard him Compare Jeff Foxworthy to "that Waterhead Corky." Possibly one of the funniest analogies I've ever heard....People who are offended by that joke or the Christopher Reeve joke should roll around in Barbed Wire with Magic Johnson.... Anyone who is offended by humor is a liar and is desperate to find some kind of meaning in there awful life....Funny is Funny damn it!!
