Von Trapped

Hairdresser Maria lives lives in a dream world, afraid to confront reality she is obsessed with The Sound of Music. A trip to Salzburg with mother and daughter is her dream.

The first and best of The Trapped series, Von Trapped is a terrific watch, a drama I watch regularly, it is incredibly funny, and moving. Definitely the best of the trio of stories, it's pretty surprising, each character has a story, Lee's possibly the most interesting.

I always remember the ending, the moment of realisation is so moving, the whole thing makes sense at this point, the acting is sublime.

A brilliant trio, Quentin, Stubbs and Lowndes, their acting is phenomenal, each able to add laughs and tears. Carter and Jackson great also.

Una Stubbs as always delivers the laughs, she comes up with some incredible one liners, 'she's like Zola Bud with a tail,'

Great filming on location in Salzburg, it looks breathtaking. I really do need to watch The Sound of Music one of these days.

I cannot give it any other score than a 10/10.
