- Ty "Griff" Griffin: [to Wells] I wounded it. But, I want that thing dead. Now
- [turns and points to someone off camera]
- Ty "Griff" Griffin: get me the god damned flame thrower!
- Father Nikolai Soren: When I first camendment here, I slowly discovered the legend was true, and thr day of their re-emergence was drawing near. This recent earthquake unearthed it, this ancient chamber, and the day of the rebirthing is now begun.
- Dr. Christina Durant: So what's going to happen to me?
- Father Nikolai Soren: I believe congratulations are in order - you're about to become a mother!
- Dr. Christina Durant: [Griff, Wells, and several heavily armed police enter the gargoyle's lair and, slackjawed, discover Dr. Durant tied to the cavern wall as dozens of baby gargoyles swirl in the air and devour Father Soren] HELP?
- Jennifer Wells: [Wells and Griff only just emerge from slaying the gargoyle and it's brood in its lair, thereby prevebring a worldwide Satanic takeover, when Wells' cell phone rings] Wells... What?... Ok?... Fine, we'll be there in two hours.
- [to Griff]
- Jennifer Wells: That was Langley. They just booked us on a flight to Vladivostock. Apparently they lost track of a Hercules C-130 somewhere over Western Siberia, and the pilot reported seeing a UFO just before the plane disappeared off the radar.
- Ty "Griff" Griffin: Great. Just great.
- Coroner: The death itself could have occurred in any number of ways. The body was obviously dropped from a great height. His bones were pulverized. His stomach, spleen, and liver were torn out.
- Jennifer Wells: From the impact?
- Coroner: I don't think so. It looks as if someone deliberately cleaned out the visceral cavity.
- Jennifer Wells: Jesus.
- Inspector Zev Aslan: I checked on all the small aircraft in the area. There was nothing. I don't know what he could have fallen from.
- Coroner: I'm not sure that's what killed him. Considering the amount of blood left on the roof, along with several other indicators found in the autopsy, the body was dead even before the impact.
- Jennifer Wells: I don't understand.
- Coroner: Well, when we opened him up, we found that his heart had literally exploded. I've never seen anything like it. It is entirely possible that this man here died of pure fear long before any of these other complications.
- Inspector Zev Aslan: What other complications?
- Coroner: [shows a plastic bag with hairs in them] We found this in his pectoral cavity. It doesn't belong to him.
- Jennifer Wells: Well, then whose is it?
- Coroner: We sent for DNA until then... unknown.
- Jennifer Wells: I see. Well, I'd like to look at your file, and I'd appreciate any further information the minute you get it.
- Coroner: No problem, Miss Wells. Inspector.
- Inspector Zev Aslan: So, where's your partner?
- Jennifer Wells: We answered a report of another possible kidnapping.
- Inspector Zev Aslan: American?
- Jennifer Wells: Yeah. Inspector, do you remember our conversation about these Dracula fans that like to party at Castle Orlock?
- Inspector Zev Aslan: Yes, I do.
- Jennifer Wells: What about this bloodletting and disembowelment? Could any of these kids be into ancient rituals, voodoo, freaky shit like that?
- Inspector Zev Aslan: It's possible. I'll check into it.
- Jennifer Wells: Good.
- Inspector Zev Aslan: Ok. Now look, Miss Wells, you've found your kidnapper. So everything else from here on in is under my jurisdiction.
- Jennifer Wells: Your jurisdiction? Inspector, this guy was obviously hired by other people, and those people are still out there plotting the kidnap more Americans. Now, that is my jurisdiction.
- Inspector Zev Aslan: All right, that's fine, but for you, this case is closed.
- Jennifer Wells: You know, I think you might be right, Inspector. This is all just cut and dry from here on. The guy left behind half a million dollars in cash, a couple quarts of blood before he jumped, and then a mysterious accomplice bussed him 90 miles, all the way to the top of Castle Dracula. Yeah. Well, that makes perfect sense to me.
- Inspector Zev Aslan: Me, too. I'll put that in my report.
- Jennifer Wells: You do that.
