Worth watching. Some very scary moments and story will compell you to think about the characters even after movie ends. Suna Suna song is like a cherry on the cake, one of the cult song with its own loyal fan base.
A group of dumb adults, old enough to have graduated at least 10 years ago, are still in college. Understandable as far as Sohail Khan is concerned. Suffered too many year-downs maybe. Anita Hasanandani speaks in a manner proving she's still suffering from hangover of her soap operas while the rest of the troupe rather than murdering her just keep listening. Enter Isha Koppikar as a demonic spirit, admitted to the college in mid session, maybe has a few backlogs to clear from her past incarnation. Wherever a mysterious book goes, it spells doom, be it for its transport be it for its reader. It can very well be assumed the book is actually the movie's script. Despite being multi-talented, years of sabbatical have forced poor Rati Agnihotri to work as a call centre between spirits and humans, some of the dead might've surely complained why Sohail Khan took acting.
Key takeaways from the movie: Anita Hasanandani should attend a speech therapist, Isha Koppikar no matter how brain dead should refrain from ever playing the dead again and Sohail Khan should visit the lavatory before facing the camera or perhaps accept roles where he's to play deaf, dumb and mute combined, it'll be tough but he can try for audience sake.

I watched this movie after watching a reel made by Kusha Kapila about POV: you are the ghost from krishna cottage. Rewinded me with that nostalgic song of Shreya Ghosal. The song in the movie was crown. I legit adored the last message of the movie, so basically the movie is a blend of one sided love story and horror. The moral they gave was that the one sided love was and is unfortunate but the holder should realize the message of that love that is to give not to receive. And that the strong love is always one sided and that person has never lose or failed. I loved that message and once again the music aspect of the Bepanah along with the scenes created a heartfelt sensation. Loved that. The concept was good but horror part didn't click well.
It's a good movie, worth watching. Like many other ghost stories, this movie also starts with a group of friends travel late night and happens to halt in a haunted building. But no killing takes place there. The group of friends continue their life happily until they come across a book which turns their life.
¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaThe film was previously titled " Kimberly Cottage No. 16.".
- ErroresContinuity error: When all of the friends drive through a tunnel after the engagement party, it is early morning (with morning light) when they enter the tunnel and dark night when they are across the tunnel on the other side. No supernatural element in the movie accounts for this, so the only explanation is that it is a continuity error.
- Versiones alternativasTwo TV versions of the film exist and both are rated U (universal). One, certified by the CBFC in 2005, is heavily cut and has a duration of 105 minutes, while the other, certified in 2008, is 120 minutes long.
