How Spider-man '94 #1 Comic Book Addresses Some Big Cliffhangers From The Animated Series - Spoilers
Spider-Man: The Animated Series ended with Madame Web vowing to help Peter Parker find the missing Mary Jane Watson in a cliffhanger that's never been resolved. Until now, at least.
While Marvel Comics' Spider-Man '94 doesn't fully pull back the curtain on the adventure that led to Peter finding Mary Jane, it does deal with the aftermath. Peter and Mj are reunited but struggling, largely because he's finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that he married a woman who was revealed to be a clone.
The hero responds poorly to her suggestion that they get married—"they" already did, after all—but Mj eventually confronts Peter at his Aunt May's house.

The title of the fifth episode of Alien: Earth — "In Space, No One..." — is a direct reference to the tagline of Ridley Scott's 1979 Alien. It makes sense, because this nostalgic hour looks and feels like the film that started it all.
Episode 5, which aired Sept. 2 on FX, takes place aboard the Maginot, two years before Sigourney Weaver's Ripley will come face-to-face with her titular E.T. on the Nostromo. The Maginot is 17 days away from crashing into Earth's Prodigy City, where the ship's various extraterrestrial specimens — including the intelligent eye midge and the powerful Xenomorph — will eventually cause all kinds of murderous mayhem.

The Alien franchise is back in a major way. This time on the small screen for the series’ first live-action show,Alien: Earth. Even though this is an Alien TV nightmare, it's in keeping with the tradition of the brand’s endless sea of acid-soaked merchandise. Now, as the Xenomorphs continue to wreak havoc on TV, Funko has unleashed their new Alien: Earth collection.
There are two Funko Pops thus far for Alien: Earth. This would be Wendy (Sydney Chandler) and the new version of the Xenomorph. The latter is a part of Funko’s Super 6-inch series. Wendy will be available for $14.99 Usd, while the Xenomorph will be $24.99 Usd.

The "Alien" franchise has jumped around in time so much that it can be hard to keep track of it all. The first four films in the series, from Ridley Scott's original through "Alien Resurrection," follow a linear timeline and span about 260 years, with the meat of that time existing between the beginning of "Resurrection" and the end of "Alien 3." "Alien" takes place in the year 2122, "Aliens" occurs nearly 60 years later in 2179, after Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) spends several decades drifting through space in cryosleep, and "Alien 3" essentially takes place right after "Aliens." Then there's a 200-year jump to "Resurrection" in 2379.
After that, though, everything gets a bit more difficult to follow.
The next film released in the series is "Prometheus," which takes place 33 years prior to the original movie in 2089. After that came Ridley Scott's "Alien: Covenant," which is set in 2104, and Fede Álvarez's "Alien: Romulus,...

The running joke in Community is that it’ll get six seasons and a movie.
The show fulfilled that six-season prophecy during its run on NBC from 2009 until 2015.
Fans were very excited to hear that the Community movie was officially announced in 2022, with production expected to start in 2024.
(Vivian Zink/NBC)
But over the past few years, the timeline has become increasingly delayed, and there’s only been sporadic news that creator Dan Harmon and the cast have shared.
At this point, I think it’s time to face the cold, hard truth: it might be time to accept that the Community movie is never happening.

Anticipation prior to the release of an Avengers movie is always at an all-time high. On one hand, fans are excited to see big Marvel Cinematic Universe comebacks, and this time will be no different with the return of Robert Downey Jr. to the superhero world (to name just one example). On the other hand, we're all eager to witness the introduction of new characters who'll forever shape the future of this interconnected universe.
Avengers: Age of Ultron marked the proper debut of fan-favorite Wanda Maximoff, while the Captain America: Civil War crossover introduced audiences to Black Panther and the McU's version of Spider-Man. Now, with the introduction of the multiverse, the sky isn't even the limit anymore, as anyone could show up at any moment — a notion that only became more apparent thanks to leaked MCU concept art.

“Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist” and “Say Nothing” both take place during the “Me” Decade, but in wildly different worlds. Peacock’s “Fight Night” unfolds in Atlanta in 1970, when Muhammad Ali flew into town and won his comeback fight after a three-year boxing ban, while the country’s most powerful figures in the Black Mafia got robbed at a party celebrating that victory. Across the Atlantic and up through the Irish Sea to Belfast is FX’s “Say Nothing,” which chronicles the Troubles in Northern Ireland beginning in the early ’70s. On one side: suave gangsters led by Samuel L. Jackson’s Frank “the Black Godfather” Moten. On the other: working-class members of the paramilitary Irish Republican Army fighting for a united republic free of British soldiers. Here, we dive into both limited series.

The Alien franchise was determined to get back on track while honoring the whole series with last year’s Alien: Romulus. A new entry in the universe is also on the way with the TV series, Alien: Earth. The Alienfranchise is headed to television later this year, and it looks as terrifying as longtime fans of the franchise hoped it would be. The first official trailer for Alien: Earth reveals Noah Hawley's unique take on the horror franchise, which moves the action away from space. Unfortunately, on Earth, everyone can hear your scream.
Alien: Earth follows a group of soldiers tasked with handling extraterrestrial life forms after a spaceship containing a handful of mysterious eggs crash-landed on the planet. As the footage teases, five different aliens have made their way to Earth, and while a Xenomorph makes a bone-chilling appearance, it seems the series will introduce new species to the franchise. Set before the original 1979 Alien film, Earth will reveal that aliens touched grass long before Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and the rest of the Nostromo made contact with the deadly creature. You can check out the trailer below.

Netflix has announced its first recast for the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Adam Beach will replace Joel Montgrand as the Southern Water Tribe's Chieftain, Hakoda, and the father of Sokka (Ian Ousley) and Katara (Kiawentiio). The actor will make his Avatar debut in Season 3, which is currently in production.
Before Netflix's Avatar series was released, Beach was a fan-favorite choice for playing Hakoda. Aside from his work on Law & Order, Beach is known for his roles in Cowboys & Aliens, Windtalkers, and Flags of Our Fathers. He began his acting career in 1990 and quickly made an impression, earning three "Best Actor" awards across major festivals, including the 1995 American Indian Film Festival, First Americans in the Arts Awards, and the 1998 San Diego World Film Festival. In 2009, his performance in Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.

Possible Avengers: Doomsday Set Photo Features Cyclops Actor James Marsden And MCU Veteran [Spoiler]
Avengers: Doomsday has begun shooting in the UK, and a possible first set photo is doing the rounds on social media. It was reportedly taken on or near the movie's set.
We should start by pointing out that there's a very strong chance this is fake; then again, if it were AI generated or a clever counterfit, we'd like to think the creator would have dreamed up something a little more exciting than James Marsden and Benedict Wong having what looks like a simple chat between takes (they don't even appear to be in costume).
Still, if the insinuation is that we'll get a scene between Cyclops and Earth-616's Sorcerer Supreme, Wong, then it's a pretty exciting glimpse at what may be to come in Avengers: Doomsday next summer.
Benedict Wong wasn't among the actors announced as part of Marvel Studios' five-and-a-half-hour cast reveal.
Despite that, Wong showing up was surely a given,...

Back in 2019, audiences witnessed the biggest crossover ever in the form of Avengers: Endgame. Earth's Mightiest Heroes assembled one last time to do the impossible and restore half of the life in the universe while putting Thanos's mad tyranny to an end. But for as exciting as it was to see the culmination of the first chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, very few could've guessed that the Avengers wouldn't come together until seven years later. Fortunately, it appears the wait will be worth it.
To say that excitement levels are through the roof about Marvel's next crossover would be an understatement. The cast announcement for the movie alone gathered over 275 million views, even if it was simply a five-hour livestream showcasing a few chairs with actors' names on them. Fans were eager to discover who would join the fight against Doctor Doom and, much to everyone's surprise, the...

The wait for Netflix's live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender has already begun, and we can expect to wait a bit longer. Released in 2024, Season 1 condensed the events of the animated series' first book, and Season 2 is said to follow suit with the second. According to the show's newest cast member, Miya Cech, we may be waiting a while for Season 2. In an interview with The Direct, Cech reveals that fans shouldn't expect the show to return before 2026. While she wasn't exactly sure when fans would reunite with Team Avatar, Cech knows that the production team wants to keep expectations realistic. She said:
"Yeah, I mean, personally, I'm not exactly sure. I feel like they're trying to keep our expectations realistic, so I think that we were looking at early 2026 for Season 2, but let's just hope it gets done a little quicker than that."

In the "Star Trek" episode "Assignment: Earth", the Enterprise travels back in time to the year 1968 -- something, it seems, the Enterprise can just do -- for historical research purposes. While in hiding out in orbit, however, Captain Kirk (William Shatner) and Spock (Leonard Nimoy) detect that someone else nearby is using super-advanced transporter technology, meaning they aren't the only time travelers in the vicinity. Interrupting a transporter signal, the Enterprise beams aboard a handsome and mysterious stranger holding a black cat. This is Gary Seven (Robert Lansing), a time traveler from the 24th century, which is a century beyond from where Kirk came from.
Gary Seven announces that he is on a mission of his own, and that it is of the utmost importance. It involved taking over control of a nuclear missile, however, so Gary doesn't seem very trustworthy.

From facing angry mobs in Varanasi to fielding calls from George Lucas, Oscar-nominated filmmaker Deepa Mehta has built a fearless career challenging cultural taboos — and at 74, she’s not slowing down.
In a wide-ranging conversation ahead of her career retrospective “Through the Fire: The Films of Deepa Mehta” at Toronto’s TIFF Cinematheque, the filmmaker sat down with Variety to discuss her journey from reluctant cinephile to celebrated auteur whose works have consistently challenged social and political norms over the last 30 years.
“Should I be retiring instead of doing work?” Mehta jokes when asked about the retrospective. “No, too much,” she quickly adds, dismissing the notion of slowing down with characteristic determination.
The Indo-Canadian director, whose films frequently examine divisions – between countries, communities and within individuals themselves – traces her cinematic roots to childhood days spent in her father’s movie theater in the Punjab.

The Coyote lives! Victory for the little people! The Acme anvils are flying once again, because Ketchup Entertainment has officially acquired the worldwide distribution rights to Coyote vs. Acme from Warner Bros. Pictures, reviving the long-awaited live-action/animated hybrid film that stars none other than Looney Tunes’ most determined (and perpetually unlucky) predator: Wile E. Coyote.
The move comes after months of uncertainty about the film’s fate following Warner Bros.' initial decision to shelve it—a decision that had fans and filmmakers absolutely furious at the lack of respect shown to the people involved in creating it, but now, thanks to Ketchup, Wile E. Coyote will finally have his day in court—and at the box office.

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 3 Update! ( Photo Credit – YouTube )
Vicky Kaushal has knocked it out of the park with his historical action drama, Chhaava. After a fantastic Saturday, the box office collections surged further and almost touched the 50 crore mark. It has now become his second highest-grosser of all time. Scroll below for the exciting day 3 update!
Another 25% jump on Sunday!
All the predictions have been surpassed by leaps and bounds. Laxman Utekar’s directorial was expected to perform well in Maharashtra. It very well lived up to the predictions, but only to perform in a far superior manner. Besides, it is also witnessing good footfall in North India, as positive word-of-mouth is growing nationwide.
On day 3, Chhaava added 49.03 crores to the kitty. It witnessed a 25% jump from 39.30 crores earned on Saturday. An upward graph was supposed to be a good sign, but a 100 crore club in the opening weekend was far from expectations.

Helldivers 2 features a surprisingly intricate lore behind its cast and the overall game world. In recent months, the political views of Super Earth and its defenders have been of particular focus, which can be attributed to some sort of propaganda.
Super Earth loves its propaganda, and it has routinely used (and abused) it to shift the opinion of the masses in its favor. Ironically, it would appear that due to their recent aggressions Super Earth has managed to turn fiction into reality – with regard to its sworn enemies.

A common trend throughout Dragon Ball is the series' major villains cycling through various transformations before they finally reach their final form. Most Dragon Ball villains have completely different character designs by the time that theyve reached their perfect state. In most cases, these final forms are the most visually intimidating of the lot and more effective than their predecessors but this isnt always the case.

Getting interviewed by Tom Cavanagh was a delight for Superman & Lois' Lex Luthor.
"He's not only a cast favorite but also a crew favorite, and he was wonderful to have on set," actor Michael Cudlitz told TVLine after The Flash star cameoed as talk show host Gordon Godfrey, setting up Lex's on-camera showdown with Lois Lane as part of his revenge scheme. Cudlitz also described Cavanagh as "a lot of fun, he has a lot of energy, he's incredibly creative, and he's not afraid to throw out everything he's done and come up with something new. He's also incredibly supportive, so I was grateful to have him on set. Hes a hoot."
