Fantastic Performances from some Legends!

I was so happy to find this at my local library. It is great to have these folks on stage once again. Who knows how much longer they will be around? The backing band really gets the sound of the original recordings in the live performances. The audience was really getting into the concert as well. Many singing along and some teary eyes, too. Highlights for me were Little Anthony and the Imperials, The Reflections, The Fleetwoods, Bobby Lewis, Lou Christie and Jay and the Americans.

This is my second favorite concert, right after the "Concert for George"

I don't see this available on DVD anymore. That is a shame. Check your local libraries and maybe you'll get lucky. There is a companion video to this one called "American Soundtrack: Rhythm, Love and Soul" that is also outstanding!
