This show trying to do what we saw on the "Truman Show" only for "real".
Since Steve wanted to become an actor his wife and friends co-operated with the show makers to film some parts of his life.
Supposingly Steve doesn't know anything about it and he suppose to find out in the end of the show.
I think the only ones who are being fooled here are the viewers who think Steve doesn't really know. Steve acts in this show making you feel that he only "pretend" not to know.
Not to mention how boring this show was, I mean, who cares about Steve? Why is it interesting to see him being "fooled"? It doesn't!
