Denver Darling and his band play the title tune in this solid soundie.

Soundies were short films, about three minutes in length. Almost all of them were musical, usually a popular song of the time. They were played on a machine called a Mills Panaram. Drop in a dime, and one played at random from a reel of ten. They were changed weekly, and from 1940 through 1946, Mills and other producers turned out more than two thousand of them.

I'd never heard of Darling before this, but it's a nice little number, a set of novelty lyrics to a song in the growing genre of western swing. By the time the Second World War ended, it would be the single most popular musical genre.... for a brief moment.
