We enjoyed this movie because it was a lighthearted comedy but it never settled into the clichés of that genre. Compared to something like You've Got Mail or Amelie it contained complex and interesting characterizations. It was maybe a little too long, but it was fun. There were many amusing little portraits in it, like the mother who couldn't stand to tell her neighbors that the daughter wasn't getting married. The role played by Csányi Sándor was delightful. There is a montage of girlfriends attending a singles club that is very poignant and concise and then later the mood created there underlies some of the more slapstick aspects of the courtship rituals.

If you haven't seen this film already, then forget it and take a coffee instead. The film is really boring, and the sponsors of the film was so hungry, that it is full of disgusting advertisements. As the story goes you will realize which is the favourite bank of Terézanyu, which is her coffee brand and so on. The storyline is a complete disaster also. Terézanyu's friend is a programmer, but they are using the same computer and same email address. Wooow... Have you seen such an IT guy??? The characters can be summarized with 2 sentences each. If you'd liked Bridget Jones, than you must have to forget this film. It is a really amateur copy of that.

...if it sucks as bad as the film than not doing so was pretty damn clever on my part.

OK, the leading actress is drop-dead gorgeous.

And most of her dates are pretty handsome too.

Though I must say none as handsome as Csanyi Sandor.

It's a pity that it is quite impossible to sympathize with the whining girl for more than, say, 3 and a half seconds.

Plus, you know about 5 minutes ahead when a joke is coming up.

Not terribly terribly bad, but don't go if you have anything better to do.

This film is about a girl who wants to find herself and love in this big, wild and cruel world. She has everything: a boyfriend, a family, a job but she feels these are not the perfect ones, just the "almost perfect ones", so she try to find the real happiness. I seen this film many times and I always found something cute in almost every moment: a smile, few seconds of the beautiful soundtrack, a word, a move, etc. This movie is so airy and fragile as the leading character. I think she is beautiful and sensitive, with a lot of feelings and doubts. You're on the wrong way if you compare to Bridget Jones. Bridget is too funny character to perform the real life of the singles (with its every sadness and happiness), Kéki Kata is the perfect one to this job... :)

Very simple Movie with no big tension, no very big dramas, no very unforgettable scenes but it still works. This movie is for women, who will no doubt enjoy it more than men as this movie is about young (30-ish) women and their problems, their relationships, how they see men, women and the world. The book which it is based on was no doubt influenced by Bridget Jones's Diary: it is about a single girl who seeks The One. Still, the movie is much better than how the terrible second entry of the Bridget Jones series was; of course it is just not a straight stupid comedy but rather a sometimes funny, sometimes sad, melancholic, nice and light depiction of the female soul in the beginning of the 21st Century. Light but precise entertainment; nothing special but still a very enjoyable way to spend your time and money.

The story is about a girl who tries to be an independent woman in 21st century Eastern Europe.

It's a wonderful mix of Closer, Bridget Jones and Ally McBeal: this is the first movie since Ally McBeal where I saw someone pull those little flashback-daydreams off successfully; the brilliant mix of laughter and tears reminded me of Jude Law's and Clive Owen's performances in Closer, although in Terezanyu obviously the female performances are the more dominant and more polished ones. The acting of almost all of the characters, however, is very good. The photography is truly beautiful.

In my opinion, this movie could easily make its stand on the international market.
