This series is so boring that I really can't understand why people think this series is "the best ever". It is basically just like any other bad series with terrible actors, just with a black and white picture to go with it. If the people who wanted to make this wanted it to be boring, they have certainly succeeded. I also can't understand the characters when they are talking. You are supposed to but I can't, which then makes it even more boring. Please avoid this if you can.

Pure hardcore art. Black and white. Alcoholic madness. The same director and cast, but even better than mainstream Gruntovčani. Small village life, everybody is drunk and insane. Hard life. Every sentence from this series had become legendary. Magnificent acting, great characters. Everybody knows about Gruntovčani almost nobody knows about Mejaši, it's such a shame. With Naše Malo Misto and Gruntovčani the best Croatian TV Series ever. There are 6 episodes. The scenarist Mladen Kerstner said : It's not a comedy of situation but realistic portrait of life and customs in villages of northern Podravina (part of Croatia along river Drava, the border with Hungary).
