Brandy celebrated Christmas this year by getting engaged to her music executive boyfriend — Congratulations!

Brandy Norwood, better known as just Brandy … or Moesha, is engaged to Ryan Press, according to a new report.

“They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right,” an insider tells Us Weekly.

Before Brandy, 33, accepted Ryan’s proposal, she expressed her interest in marrying the music executive.

“I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don’t know,” Brandy told Sister2Sister magazine in August. “I’m going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be. . . I guess it will happen when it’s the right time.”

Brandy ended her relationship with Robert Smith, daughter Sy’rai’s father, in the public eye and since then, the singer lost her faith in love. However, Ryan reportedly restored her faith.

WB has signed separate talent holding deals with actor-singers Nick Lachey and Brandy. Lachey, one half of the married team featured in the MTV hit series Newlyweds, is no stranger to WB, having guest-starred on the series Charmed. He also put in appearances on the ABC series Hope and Faith. He has been attached to a few comedy projects in recent pilot seasons that didn't materialize. Brandy, star of the UPN series Moesha, last appeared in her own MTV reality series Brandy: Special Delivery, which chronicled the birth of her first child. In 2004, she had a development deal with Fox Broadcasting Co., Touchstone TV and Storyline Entertainment for her own half-hour series, which didn't materialize (HR 8/20/04). Lachey is repped by ICM.
