What Happened To Craig Heaney After Playing Cobb In Band Of Brothers
Image
Craig Heaney's role as Private Roy W. Cobb in Band of Brothers was a breakout role and the highlight of his career, with no other projects as prominent or lasting. Heaney's acting career seemed to have ended after his final role in The Queen in 2009, as he has not appeared on-screen since then. Cobb, Heaney's character, faced a downward spiral in the Army, culminating in his assault on a sergeant, resulting in a court-martial, discharge, and eventual move to New York, where he died of cancer later in life.

Band of Brothers tells the story of Easy Company — 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division in World War II, and the television show features an ensemble cast, including Craig Heaney as Private Roy W. Cobb. Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks created the HBO miniseries, which ran for ten episodes in late 2001 and received widespread critical claim.

Wayward Pines (2015)
'Wayward Pines' Recap: Are the Evils of Wayward Pines Finally Brought to Light?
Wayward Pines (2015)
The Wayward Pines plot has thickened like corn starch in Thanksgiving gravy. In "The Truth," Ethan conducts his own brand of reconnaissance and turns the tables on the monsters outside the perimeter, Theresa takes a job and learns some things she probably wished she hadn't, and Ben's indoctrination into the Wayward cult commences full force. Fellow BuddyTV writer Kartik Chainani nailed it with his theory that Wayward Pines was a futuristic world. But do we buy it? More importantly, are we entertained, are we having fun existing within that very question? If you've made it this far, fellow viewer, then you continue to be as intrigued as I am.

The most valuable counsel my mother ever gave me was thus: Believe nothing that you hear, and only half of what you see. Basically, there is always more to the story than meets the eye (and it's probably none of your business anyway). Now,...

Film Review: 'Stonehearst Asylum'
★★☆☆☆ "Believe nothing you hear and one half of what you see", is a line lifted from Edgar Alan Poe's The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether that is uttered by a plummy-toned Brendan Gleeson at the opening of Brad Anderson's entertaining Grand Guignol genre-piece Stonehearst Asylum (2014) (previously Eliza Graves). Based on Poe's book, the story opens at the beginning of the last century, where a naive young doctor, Edward Newgate (Jim Sturgess), embarks on his first position at a remote asylum in the wilderness of North Yorkshire. Upon his arrival, he is greeted by the institutes head shrink, the archly named Silas Lamb (Ben Kinsley).

Rik Mayall Dies At 56 And The World Doesn’t Really Know What It Has Lost
I don’t often do death notices here, mostly because everyone else on Earth will let you know whenever anyone dies. But, today Rik Mayall passed away, and though everyone else on Earth will still probably mention the fact to you, those in the U.S. probably won’t truly appreciate the loss. More importantly, there’s a sense in which I feel that I’ve lost a friend.

Even for those who knew a bit of his work, the majority will wonder about the outpouring of comment circulating the internet, especially when you have things like Ricky Gervais saying -

Rip Rik Mayall. An icon of modern British comedy.

— Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) June 9, 2014

Now, I have to tell you that this tweet originally said – “A godfather of modern comedy.” Who knows what happened there, but the original statement didn’t need to be corrected.

Whether we’re splitting hairs over godfather vs.

'The Originals' react: A new order
Believe Nothing (2002)
Just like Klaus, I think we should begin with a toast. However, I’m raising my Diet Coke to Marcel’s scarf, Klaus’ evil smirk, and all things family, while Klaus was raising his glass to immortality. Plus, let’s be real: I’m not nearly as poetic as one Klaus Mikaelson. Those words and that accent? That man was born to rule.

Speaking of which, at a dinner for Marcel’s inner circle, and therefore Klaus’ inner circle, the Original hybrid explained the recent power shift. New Orleans was once again Klaus’ city. “May the blood never cease to flow,...

Afternoon Delight: Princess Diana's night in drag, Fergie to be honored at the NewNowNext Awards

Good afternoon and happy April! Where does the time go?

Happy birthday to Trish Bendix’s dream girl Rachel Maddow, Bijou Phillips, Susan Boyle, Debbie Reynolds, Jane Adams and my perfect doggie Taffy Davenport McManus-Kregloe!

Trish posing with Rachel Maddow (before security pried her away.)

Like many young people growing up in the 1980s, I was obsessed with Princess Diana. Now I find out that in the late '80s Queen’s Freddie Mercury “disguised Princess Diana as a man and took her to notorious gay bar Royal Vauxhall Tavern. They were sure they were going to be discovered, but Mercury proved a major distraction, and Diana reportedly loved it.” After knowing this I can now die happy.

Evan Rachel Wood is so in demand as an actress that she’s starring in movies she even she doesn’t know about.

Charlie Sheen: 'Rumours about me are crap'
Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen has reportedly insisted that most of what is reported about him in the media is "crap". Speaking to E! Online, the Two and a Half Men actor refused to answer to rumours including his alleged relationships with several porn stars, his apparent drug and alcohol addiction and his position on the CBS comedy. He instead suggested that people should be more focused on world affairs than celebrity gossip. "Believe nothing. I will never (more)...

Sheen Baffled By Obsession With His Troubles
Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen has spoken out to clear up the rumours about his personal life, insisting there are far more important issues in the world than his headline-grabbing antics.

The troubled actor was hospitalised in Los Angeles last week (ends28Jan11) to treat a hernia after allegedly indulging in a wild night of partying. He is now receiving treatment with a rehab-at-home program, while taking an extended hiatus from work on his TV show Two And A Half Men.

He released a short statement, thanking fans and colleagues for their support while he seeks help, and he has now spoken out to silence gossip about his troubles.

In a text interview with E! Online, Sheen was asked about a report suggesting his famous father Martin wants to seek a conservatorship order to take control of his affairs - and the actor vehemently denied the story.

He writes, "All c**p... Believe nothing. I will never speak about any of this as long as I'm alive. You're all gonna have to keep towing the same redundant line, guessing wrong."

And Sheen is adamant his story is not as important as coverage of the mass protests in Egypt, where violence has broken out as citizens demonstrate against the country's leaders.

He adds, "Btw (by the way), two wars are in an endless state of sorrow. Egypt about burned to the ground, and all you people care about is my bulls**t... (It's) pathetic... Shame shame shame."...

Charlie Sheen Breaks His Silence
Charlie Sheen is finally speaking up about his crazy antics over the last few months.

At first this is what he had to say about all the rumors and talk:

"All crap. Believe nothing. I will never speak about any of this as long as I'm alive. You're all gonna have to keep towing the same redundant line, guessing wrong. Btw, two wars are in an endless state of sorrow. Egypt about burned to the ground, and all you people care about is my bullsh*t?"

But then his publicist must have been pissed and made him release this statement:

'I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received,' reads the message from the 'Two and a Half Men' star.

The world has gotten an earful from the adult-film star who reportedly partied with Charlie Sheen before the "Two and a Half Men" star landed in the hospital last week with severe abdominal pain, but little had been heard from the troubled actor himself since the incident.

That changed on Wednesday, when Sheen issued a rare public statement in which he thanked the people who have supported him in the wake of his latest tribulations, while perhaps implying that he realizes he needs to get his life in order.

"I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people,...

Charlie Sheen Thanks Fans and Co-Workers for Support
Charlie Sheen has thanked his fans for their support after he began his home rehab stint. The "Two and a Half Men" actor, who started a three-month program last week after being hospitalized following an alleged 36-hour drink and drug session at his Los Angeles home, is grateful for the messages he has received, as well as the encouragement and understanding from his work colleagues.

"I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people," Charlie said in a statement. "I want to say thank you to my fellow cast members, the crew of 'Two and a Half Men' and everyone at CBS and Warner Bros., especially Les Moonves and Bruce Rosenblum for their concern and support. And to my fans, your good wishes have touched me very much. Like Errol Flynn, who had to put down his sword on occasion,...

Charlie Sheen Talks to E!: The Rumors Are "All Crap"
Charlie Sheen
His show on the verge of cancellation? His parents trying to take control of his assets? In an exclusive exchange with E! News, Charlie Sheen is clearing up all the rumors himself. Here's what he had to say about his troubles, the false stories and his undying love for his fans. Asked if his father, Martin, is really seeking a conservatorship as claimed by Radar Online and whether Two and a Half Men would be halted, the rehabbing star was to the point. "All crap," he told us via text. "Believe nothing. I will never speak about any of this as long as I'm alive. You're all gonna have to keep towing the same redundant line, guessing wrong." Shaquille O'Neal on 'Shaq Vs.': 'I have never lost.'
Justin Bieber
Basketball wasn’t enough for Shaquille O’Neal. Like Alexander the Great, he had other worlds to conquer. Last summer, Shaq challenged a Super Bowl champion, an Mlb All-Star, a championship boxer, and three Olympic gold medalists. Bravely, he tried to beat them all at their own game. Bravely, he lost every match. I’m sure anyone with any profound love of sports hates Shaq Vs., but I dug the show. And I love that things are only getting crazier when season 2 starts tonight: Shaq is expanding his competitions to include a cook-off (vs. Rachael Ray), a magic-off (with Penn...
