Sam Spade is alive and well in the 21st Century

Munich Mambo is a surprising movie that features a young 'Sam Spade' character with the backdrop of Munich, Germany. There is plenty of action and sleuthing with a touch of romance. You'll find enough twists and surprises to keep your interest until the very end.

The producer/director and cast have created an interesting and entertaining movie.

You will find yourself guided along with the 'Magnum, P.I.' type of narration which allows the condensing of three hours of movie in the 97 minute package.

Enjoy this German made film in English. It's not the usual 'Hollywood' fare. Here's a movie from a different angle.

Great actors!

"Munich Mambo", shot on HD-Video on locations in Munich. But: in English language! That reminds me on "Colateral" with Tom Cruise (the HD-Material...). OK, without an international Star... But anyway, I've seen it at the MAXX-Cinema in Munich, Germany. Sabine Krappweis and Heiko Dietz are very excellent actors! Two Germans in almost perfect American Slang. Minus 1 Star because of some scenes that could ave been deleted. And the lightning is not really professional. There are shadows on the faces. But it's an independent movie! And for that, I had to say: Great job! I am looking forward to Richard Warmoths next movie. Should be very exciting! Best wishes, eddie

Great film!

I really enjoyed watching Munich Mambo! I'm sure this film is going to end up being a "must have" cult classic. The story is an exciting salute to those old detective films we have been watching for years. I was impressed by the acting. Knowing this film was made in Germany I was expecting very poor English. What a pleasant surprise it was to hear great English from all of those actors! I haven't seen the director Richard Warmoth's work previously. He did a good job on what seems to be a limited budget. I'm looking forward to the next film from Richard Warmoth. The camera work was good. The locations were interesting as well. I felt that the music moved the story along and highlighted the important moments dramatically. Good editing too! All-in-all, a nice entertaining evening in front of the TV.
