Track 16

Track 16 is another suspense movie by Mick McCleery with an ending that comes out of nowhere and smacks you behind the head. This dark psychological suspense continues McCleery's penchant for making movies that are just a little strange...

The plot development is not as sophisticated as "The Altruist", but the movie's adoption of the "one step up from garage band" culture is really interesting. Billy Frank's music is not only great, but essential to the story line.

I also enjoyed knowing that the the main location was demolished shortly after the movie was made. Kind of like tearing down the set! I just wonder what he would be able to do if he had a serious budget!

The movie was really good I thought. The lead character was stunning and believable. The cop in the beginning, right after the murder was Bill Fischer. He was only in Track 16 for a couple seconds. We need to see more of this guy!!!

Track 16 is definitely one of the best films I have seen in a long time. The plot is just brilliant, I was on the edge of my seat nearly all the way through it, with it's spectacular twists in the story. The acting and special features was excellent and had definitely been thought out well and been directed well. Billy Franks plays the main character of Paul who is a very talented singer. He is trying to record his new song when there is a murder but who was the killer? This murder mystery keeps you in suspense, in fact I had to watch it a couple of times to see if there was any clues.

This film definitely has a special place in my movie collection. In fact it is the best film that I have seen that hasn't come out of Hollywood, and the plot is better than a lot of the big budget movies around these days.
