Die Liebe meines Lebens

... there's little about the story that's unusual or very interesting-different... a woman married for a decade to a man she's fallen out of love with, even if she'd ever really loved him that much at all

... casting is what makes this production worth watching... all actors do very well fitting into their respective roles... especially suited is Aglaia Szyszkowitz as Anna, wife and mother of two young boys... falling in deep-love with another man she meets by accident, and forced-having-to-choose between a life of love-passion with this new stranger, or to return-remain with her sons as they grow up... loosing something either way, so saying she made the only choice is not the right or wrong one

... yet this film's ending just doesn't ring-true... sure, she loves her kids, but abandoning passion in this way, a woman in her early-thirties-sexual-prime would-feel makes-little-sense... if anything, she'd fight for custody of her children, and share them... or she'd remain for awhile with her family, eventually returning to her lover... giving him-that-life up-completely-permanently just not making much-real-sense... along-with-if the husband not questioning her now returning.
