Chris, an adopted son of a moral family, a loser whom works at the school newspaper with Kate (Christine Lakin from of the awful sugary "Step by Step" show of the now thankfully defunct ABC's TGIF line-up), finds out that he's just inherited a porn empire from his biological parents. He loses sight of what true friendship and love is and blah blah some other nonsense. He also has to contend with an Uncle who wants control of the family business and a shifty lawyer (arn't they are?) A slightly below average teen comedy that steals from better teen comedies (the opening alone is HIGHLY American Pie-esquire), bops you on the head with the moral every chance it gets, and wastes the only star talent it has (Wayne Newton, Lin Shaye, and if i'm really stretching the star word, Martin Starr of "Freaks and Geeks", and Justin Berfield of "Malcolm in the Middle"). It's not bad exactly, but it's far from good.

Movie starts off extremely well with that glorious sequence featuring the lovely girl from CHARMED's final season, Marnette Patterson. Then, almost instantly, it switches over, from the sublime to the ridiculous, with campy ol' Colleen Camp as the mother of Chris in embarrassing scenes no guy would want to see. If I was a film director and I had Marnette Patterson on the set, I wouldn't have bothered with such stupid fart jokes and vomit references and gay porn and lots of other inane stuff too lame to mention. Poor little Marne seems to have been typecast in the 'bad girl' role, and while she clearly excels at it, what a waste. She was too late for BEVERLY HILLS 90210, where she would have made the 100% ideal Kelly Taylor, and too early for 90210. I'm just saying that while this movie has funny moments, and the fantasy of inheriting Playboy/Heaven is a story-line worth pursuing, a deluge of toilet humor is not the way to go about it. Besides Marnette, they also got it right with (1) Ali Landry as the classy Angel (although the character shouldn't have been quite SUCH a goodie-goodie two-shoes Sunday school teacher, but okay, Ali Landry, classy, sexy, hot, yum, yes (2) the J.Geils Band with CENTERFOLD (which is from an era preceding this shot-in-2002 movie by twenty years, but sounds as if it was created for this movie) (3) the Hawaiian Tropic girls, who unfortunately get way,way too little screen- time.

But the flops far outnumber the bright points. Please, what were they thinking casting Patsy Kensit as an Angel? The second half, especially, throws the little that they did have, completely away by rushing towards an agreeable end. And listen here, a magazine like Heaven cannot overnight change its content without disastrous consequences for its sales department, so don't think that those group shots taken of friends would get the mags sold, so it's all a pointless unbelievable shoddy solution turning Heaven feminist- friendly, very badly scripted.

A movie that missed its target audience by miles and miles. Guys looking for fun, would rent it, and unlike me, they wouldn't sit there and rave about Marnette Patterson afterward. No, they would want to tar and feather the people who created this (mostly) junk and cheated them out of their video rental lolly.

Should have been more Marne and Ali, less fat vomit-prone & nerdy geek guys. Movie needed a miracle that could never be anything more than a mirage.

And now, enough from me, I'm off on my date with Marnette... I wish.

This movie leaves me feeling angry that I wasted my time watching it. A group of five began watching it, but by the end...I was the only one left. I only kept watching it because I paid for the rental. I truly felt like they were trying to do another "American Pie" or something but the humor just wasn't quite there. It was more "raunchy" than anything. I think a lot of it was the story line...but also there was some poor casting choices. The ending was also not really a good choice and leaves the audience feeling disappointed.I would NOT recommend this flick to anyone.I rate it one. Only because there was no zero available.

The humor in Who's Your Daddy is such poor taste that I actually closed my eyes in certain scenes. Close ups of semen are not funny! Nobody thinks they are. People get nervous when they see something so gross and to hide their nervousness, they laugh. Watching Who's Your Daddy gave me a disgusting nervous feeling.

My friends usually can put up with a lot of hopeless movies but this one was too poor for us to even watch it to the end. It was just so boring and unoriginal. Not even the "hot" girls that starred in this movie could keep me watching. Everything was just predicable and annoying.

The acting was at times good.....but more times bad. The most annoying character in the whole movie that you just wanted to die would have to be the main characters best friend. The more i saw him the more i wanted to smash my screen. (you know what fat ugly kid I'm talking about)

The plot has been done so many times before i think they should be sued by other movie companies. OK, it is a good idea but thats all this movie had.

Overall this movie can only be watched if by your self, to save any abuse from your friends. Or, if you have absolutely nothing better to do.

When a comedy movie boasts its marvelous soundtrack on the back cover you know your not dealing with a top notch movie. I rented this movie with friends expecting to get some chuckles but overall to get most of our laughs off each other making fun of the movie. We couldn't have chosen a worse movie.

The movie may have been alright with a few changes. First off, the comedy was painful. Physical gags were poorly performed and placed. The fat kid in the movie made us want to kill ourselves, bless him for trying scene in and scene out but he was like a puppy begging for love. If he had been pulled from the movie everything might have been bearable. There were some funny jokes, I believe one was when the group of boys steal one of the parent's porn movies and it turns out to be gay porn. But to best sum up the comedy I will simply tell the opening gag for the fat kid. He wears a puke stained shirt and talks about not knowing when something is done.

To finish off, the editor of the movie could have saved the movie by removing the fat kid, cutting out 20 minutes of the school scenes and making an ending that is longer than thirty seconds of random bickering.

OH, BTW, there are two good elements that the movie possesses. Kadeem Hardison plays his role wonderfully and performs his jokes so that none are missed or under-appreciated. The other redeeming element to the movie is the beautiful Mrs. Ali Landry. Her character is ignored most of the movie which is a shame.

Don't waste your time even renting this one. It didn't appeal to me and I was part of the target audience (18 male).

Brandon Davis stars as Chris Hughes (or Chris Mack), a nerdy high school loser whose only wish is to know what it is like to be popular. Soon, a lawyer name Michael Hunt (yeah, Mike Hunt) shows up on his doorstep and tells him his real parents have been killed in an accident and that he should be at the reading of their will. It turns out that his parents are Peter and Honey Mack, the publishers of a very successful adult magazine named Heaven, complete with "Angels" as centerfolds. Of course, the antagonist is trying to get the company for himself and will stop at any means to get it, in this case, his Uncle Duncan.

This movie started out with some gross out humor, similar to what you would find in American Pie, but less funny, and ended up being more like The Girl Next Door. The main problem here is that it tried to hard to be funny. It was reasonably funny but most of the movie could have been polished up and Brandon Davis was too over the top as a geek. Ali Landry played a great centerfold (as she probably would be) and Wayne Newton played a great, but short, role as an adult magazine CEO. His magazine, Heaven, is supposed to be Playboy, or like it. Painfully obvious with the smoking jackets, mansions, etc.

Bottom line is, this movie is not one of the great comedies, but you could do much worse than this. If you are watching this because you are expecting nudity or a lot of sex, you will be disappointed. I can give about 6.5 stars out of 10.

This movie is an average Teen Movie. With no name or experience actor this movie doesn't quite make it into the cool movie zone. Though the movie is ain't that bad, at least not 4.3/10.

Story: An adopted school nerds became a Hugh Hefner overnight after he inherit the porn empire from his true parent.

The boys casting was kinda disappointment, they ruin the mood of the movie (maybe because they look too young.) Anyway the movie can make you smile especially with Ali, she look gorgeous here.

Overall: The movie did quite make anything right that is the main problem , (everything was copy and paste from here and there). You Mighty Like It So Give It A Shot.

The other problem is the is no characteristic and feeling between the character and the viewer.

This kind of humor has been known to make teenagers laugh their guts out. The sex jokes are just too funny and must see. You can judge by the first 10 minutes whether you're gonna like the movie or not and I liked it :p

The cast makes the whole damn movie nice. because they are not well-known actors

Lets face it any guy who like such raunchy teen comedies is going to want to rent this movie the moment he reads the synopsis.

Hell the first thing I thought was I've had some crazy fantasies and dreams how come I didn't think about this?!!!Hehe.

And then you see the large UNRATED sign on the front and you know the movie your going to renting.

The other thing that came to my mind when I came to this site was that this movie didn't have theatrical release.

Shocking considering many other movies have enjoyed a theatrical release, despite the fact they have made movies on common boyhood fantasies (Girl Next Door etc). Will give you my reasoning soon.

This movie had everything one can expect in such movies, the losers who wake up one day and are suddenly the coolest guys, the hot chicks, the nude chicks, the crude sexual humour, THE JOKES ON SEXUAL ORGANS AND OTHER SUCH ITEMS OF INTEREST.......ETC.

AGAIN WHY Didn't I THINK OF HOW COOL IT WOULD BE TO ONE DAY BE THE OWNER OF A BILLION DOLLAR PORN EMPIRE........ the breast examination scene PURE BRILLIANCE..........the boy in me had 3 simultaneous Heart Attacks, the Christian PARENTS ONE OF WHICH IS ADDICTED TO COUGH SYRUP to cool, the little brother who gets action and yet is loved by the parents, THE GAY PORN....

This movie has a whole lot of stuff which is up there in comparison to the best in the field out there.

The acting is pretty good and the actors look their age (i heard both leads were 27 though reminds of Sarah M G who played a teen for more than 13 yrs).

The sound was only 2.1 channel and the soundtrack and score was OK in context of other movies.

SO WHERES THE CATCH?...............

Ever had a dream that is completely outrageous and then something happens in the dream that so illogical (and unwanted especially in the context of the dream ) that your dream is shattered and soon you get pulled back into real life...............

Thats exactly what happens in this movie. Picture this.......(dream) "You've woken up one day and realised you've inherited a billion dollar porn empire..............you move into your spanking mansion with scores of nude, hot women.............the chick who's just posed nude for your magazine is always following you around.......FROLICS NAKED WITH YOU IN THE POOL.......hmmmmmmmmm......... she come into your room one night dressed in her night shirt............you make your move..........

"SHE TELLS YOU THAT THIS IS ONLY A FANTASY AND YOU SHOULD WAIT AROUND AND ONLY GO FOR A GIRL YOU REALLY LOVE"......

WHAT A CHICK WHO POSES NUDE FOR A MAGAZINE, FOLLOWS YOU AROUND,FROLICS NAKED WITH YOU IN THE POOL, COMES INTO YOUR ROOM AND THEN TELLS YOU THAT SHES ONLY A DREAM .....................WTF.

And trust me says this is almost the exact same words, if ever there was a dream shatterer this was it.

To add to that she actually protects him from other girls and tells him crap like " I'm always there if you want someone to talk to"......hello this is dream take your stupid friendship offer and get the hell out.

Besides this the last scene where the bad guy who claims he has the "majority share" is suddenly overthrown by others who also have a large majority of the shares . Last I heard there could only be one Majority share holders, how could such a large chunk of the shares just go unnoticed????? And what the hell is up with Ali Landry either you expose or you don't.......it was OK in the first few movies but any guy who's seen even one of her movies knows that she is going to walk around in a bikini and nothing more..........to add insult to injury she will give you several hints of being nude but show us nothing more........GOING THROUGH THE ENTIRE MOVIE KNOWING THAT YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO SEE HER IN ANYTHING MORE THAN A MOVIE IS VERY IRRITATING FEELING THAT WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU.

I'm sure she has inherited the warped sense of morality from another pioneer in this field SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR, whose movie career is probably worse than Ali Landry's. When your not a classic beauty or a great actor whats with leaving something to the imagination??!!! Thankfully the audience has had enough of it and neither of the actresses career is moving forward.

The point is that WHILE A LARGE MAJORITY OF THE FILM IS FULL OF REALLY FUNNY SCENES, its peppered with these really stupid scenes which act as a bitter pill and are hard to swallow. (There are many more just mentioned a few).

A GREAT TIMEPASS MOVIE AND Definitely WORTH WATCHING if you liked such films as American Pie, Girl Next Door etc, but this movie did not have a theatrical release and you have to prepare yourself accordingly.

Go watch this movie..................while I go back my dreams............my own billion dollar empire........my own immoral angels................hmmmmmmmmmmmm..........bye bye reality.

+s what super concept, really funny jokes, good acting from the leads, hot nude girls, one heart failing scene (hehe),MEETS EXPECTATIONS, did i mention the original and great fantasy..........

+/-s OK performances from the supporting cast (if that matters),so so score -s Ali Landry..no exposure and a conscience get out of my face, some really stupid scenes that ruin the overall experience.

I actually came across this when trying to watch a different movie on Pluto during chores, but selecting that would play this movie. I try to pick my movies very carefully because sex scenes make me insanely uncomfortable due to past trauma. Particularly promiscuous ones and of course rape scenes. Characters with established relationships don't bother me too much unless it shows/is audible for more than maybe 15 seconds. This movie starts off with a sex scene.

I did go watch the trailer in case it was just a bad opening and was a good movie (before reading reviews/comments) but that is obviously not the case.

This movie is a cross between "American Pie" and "She is all that". Regrettably movie's director never decided which way he was going to go. So "Daddy" wobbled between over the top comedy and serious issues. That was negative side. On the positive side, "Daddy" has plenty of funny jokes and amazing performances. Christine Lakin was just unbelievable in her role as dorky lovesick girl. If you want to compare, try to remember Cameron Diaz in "There's Something About Mary". Yes, it was that on the money!! Marne Patterson made the best slutty cheerleader I have ever seen. Young actors were also good. Highly recommend to see. You will not be bored

Chris Hughes (Brandon Davis), a high school nobody looking for an identity other than loser, paperboy, and high school newspaper writer, becomes the owner of Heaven magazine, an adult magazine along the lines of Playboy, at the age of 18. Chris lusts after the high school hottie Brittany Van Horn (Marne Patterson) whom he has no chance with until he inherits Heaven magazine when his parents pass away.

Chris lets money and power get to his head and begins treating his friends back home like dirt. Over his few days back in high school after becoming the owner of Heaven he loses his friends and the one girl who actually gave a damn about him, Kate Reeves (the beautiful and funny Christine Lakin)who is the editor of the school newspaper.

Chris also slacks on his responsibilities to Heaven magazine and nearly loses his friends money and magazine to his Unlce Duncan and family lawyer Mike Hunt. Thanks to the quick thinking of his friends, Kate and Elissa (Ali Landry) Heaven's latest cover girl. Chirs is able to keep control of the company.

Great performance by the beautiful Christine Lakin who shows she can deliver comedy, as she did in Step-By-Step. 8/10

A coming of age flick where an adopted high school kid finds himself in charge of a porn empire through amazingly convenient circumstances, and through this experience learns what's really important in life...

While a pretty classic high-school film almost sure to please its target audience of teen-age boys, (lots of gorgeous girls bouncing around in swim suits) it seems to be a little unsure of itself. At some points it's over the top raunch, but then drops into an almost preachy diatribe on friends, family, and true love. This juxtaposition makes it all a little unbelievable - but who cares, it's fun to watch.

I see just about every teen comedy that comes out and this one is far and away better than anything I've seen since American Pie. It's a great concept and the lead, Brandon Davis, is really good in it. But what surprised me about it is not just how funny it is, but the fact that it's really sweet, too. I think that both guys and girls are going to love this one.

Worst film i have seen ever. This movie was just too much. The hot ladies dint save it! Cliches after cliches disappointed me and my fríends several times. _ After 45 minutes of timewaste we pressed "eject" and started waching telly. I caught myself closing my eyes, looking in magazines and doing everything else while watching that lame movie! _ Never see, rent or buy that movie! _ Never!

This new director has chosen an incredible cast, all with impeccable comedic timing, who play so well off each other. Lin Shaye is a sure mark that this film is FUNNY!!! It's intelligent and touching and made me laugh so hard, I need to see it again soon as to catch all the jokes I missed. Can't wait to see who picks this film up and see it in the theatres, this is a sure winner.

While this is no Academy Award winner, the film is genuinely funny. It is styled like another derivative US high school teen comedy, but really made me laugh. In fact, the film tends to make more fun of itself than 'gross-out' gags, of which there are hardly any.

The scene where the lead character has hard-fought fantasy in algebra class is absolutely hilarious. The film features one of the brothers from Malcom in the Middle who adds to the humour, especially when the lads watch an "alternate' video by mistake as a prelude to their party.

Why not spend a few dollars renting this movie overnight. As an unpretentious fluff piece it is 5 stars.

in fact, the movie was really good. i like it very much. it's about a high-school guy, who is so not popular. but there is a girl,Kate, who like him anyway. then Chris found out, that he had a father who was pretty much playboy, but he died. he is moved into villa with lot of babes and money. his life changed. he become a popular and looks down to others. even his own friends. his dream came true, he even start dating with the most popular girl in school, in who was interested all the time. everything goes fine, until he loose all his money. things became normal again. that popular girl doesn't like him anymore, not even Kate and friends he is alone. what happens now? will he ever be in friendship with Kate and friends again? WATCH THE MOVIE!
