Super Bebés: Pequeños Genios 2

I would explain the plot, but words cannot describe the emotional, thrilling masterpiece that is Superbabies: Baby Genuises2.

I took two kids (nine and four) to see this movie. I knew it wouldn't be good, because the first one wasn't, and this one is a sequel starring Scott Baio. Now I volunteer to watch bad movies, and I'm easily amused, but I had no idea it would be like this. Never have I wanted so badly to dig my eyes out with a spoon. Everyone in the cast could benefit from a lobotomy. I don't count the actual babies because I'm not convinced they were real. The teen romance is on par with the touching love story in "Young Lust in the Leper Colony". And there was... a moral? Somewhere? Yeah, the moral is children are idiots, parents are suckers, and you'll watch our brain-damaging movies and like them. This movie makes me nostalgic for "Glitter", "From Justin To Kelly" and "Manos: The Hands of Fate". And I would rather be nailed to a chair and forced to watch those three films back to back for a week, than sit through this piece of s**t movie, ever again.

For the record, I had a blinding headache after the first 20 minutes, the four year old threw up, and the nine year old fell asleep. So nobody wins.

I am truly shocked to see this movie underrated in a such cruel and immature way. THE TRUTH IS THIS MOVIE ROCKS! It's an epic story about freedom, love, patriotism and defending the weak. There's an evil power trying to steal the youth of the new generation and the powers of adults are no good. But luckily there are the super babies, the defenders of all good.

I'm sure you are beginning to understand that with this kind of elements this movie simply cannot be bad, it's just a victim of some immature teenage gang that tries to prevent it from achieving the glory it truly deserves. All I can say to these pre-teen evil doers is: GROW UP! Stop underrating movies like this and go put The Godfather where it belongs, because I can tell you this movie beats the heck out of godfather: I watch Superbabies 2 and The Godfather with my kids and we all fell asleep after 20 minutes from the beginning of The Godfather but even my kids understood the value of this masterpiece (though it's not actually made for children I think, there's some gore and fighting scenes that would surely shock even children over 16.)

Of course Iunderstand that not everyone is capable to see the unlimited depths of the movie, it's just something so touching you can't describe it. That is probably why the teenage gangs have been underrating this movie; they just want to rebel against everything beautiful and real. Great film.

OK, so the plot Is a little silly and the effects aren't exactly top- notch, but come on all you detractors - this movie Is aimed at 6-YEAR- OLDS, for goodness sake! It's meant to make the young ones laugh and the adults cringe In embarrassment! I find It rather sad that so many adults have so many bad things to say about a film so obviously not Intended for them! Why would a story about super-toddlers be aimed at a target audience above 13 anyway? This movie Is a laugh and a bit of imagination fun for the little-ones and It does It's job - the sets and effects are poor because they don't need to be any better and after all the whole thing Is pretty tongue-In-cheek! Super-hero kids take on the bad guys - what more can pre-teens ask for? The kids liked It and that's what counts!

Normally, I believe in looking at all things in fairness-but this time, they've gone too far. This movie was ABSOULETY, Positively, TRULY, HORRIBLE! What causes someone to make such a horrible piece of film? Most of the "jokes" (if you can call them that) center on kiddie-friendly "farts, poop, and pee"-that's so funny I couldn't stop laughing-laughing at the thought of the money being lost! The plot centers on evil brainwashing on kids TV shows-I guess the writers decided that using this plot for the 5,000,000th time might work! And of course, the message is-"get out there and get active!" I DON'T NEED TO BE TOLD THAT! I WENT TO SEE THIS MOVIE TO KEEP FROM BEING ACTIVE! I GIVE THIS MOVIE NEGATIVE FOUR STARS!
