i liked it!

As far as olsen films go, this one was really good. The film wasnt 100% about the girls and did well because of it. The acting was good in this film and the plot, though weak, was very entertaining. The twins excel in this film and deliver very charming, likable performances. They should definatly do more films like this one.

The actors who really make this film worth watching though, are those who play the two crooks after the girls. They are hilarious! It is really refreshing in an olsen film for someone else to get the good lines.

Apart from that the girls also didnt kiss a boy *gasp*, they didnt go shopping and they didnt use any of their silly teenage lines. They also didnt seem to be as full of themselves as they usually come across as on screen which really helped this film. All round this is a cute film, with cute characters and a cute plot. It may not be the best film ever made but its still very enjoyable and can be very funny at times.I recommend it for kids and any Olsen fans!

I'm Aussie and I hate this movie

Okay, so the beginning of the movie was okay, until they got to Australia. I can see every Australian cringing at this movie in total embarrassment. I was embarrassed watching this movie. The only good thing about this movie is that it was filmed at my school!! Also Aubrey and Pete were hot.

6 things wrong with this movie: 1.We DO NOT speak like that. At All. I don't even know half the stuff they said. I hate these stereotypes imposed on us aussies. It disgusting. 2.On top of the stupid slang, we do not speak with those accents. I cringe every time I hear them speak. I feel bad for the Aussie actors who had to speak like that. 3.There is no one called Sheila in Australia. Its a weird name and I know no one called Sheila. Sheila actually means woman. Why would anyone be called that? It's like American's calling girls Shawty. 4.The "vegemite" that one of the twins was eating was clearly NOT vegemite. That was obviously nutella. 5.We do not spend every living second on the beach and there are certainly no groups who think they own the beach. That's just stupid 6.We do not have kangaroos as pets zoo. 7.No one plays with boomerangs either. And no one can throw it anyway.

Yes, The worst movie I have ever seen so far

I'll admit I have no taste, heck, I don't mind a britney spears song every now and then, but this was the worst movie I've ever seen. The whole story was paper thin, everything was SO Hollywood-perfect-happy-family-ish, maybe best described as a girls bouquet (you know those little books that women tend to read), mixed with some kids movie and a home alone scene. It isn't until the "cool" people start dancing, that you understand why this movie was rated "comedy". Don't waste your money or your download limit on this, unless you have a serious hard-on for the Olsen twins.

The movie that started it all. . .

I had known who Mary-Kate & Ashley were since the Full house days. . .I knew they had some videos and movies, but when I saw this film on Fox Family in November, I decided that their movies were worth a look. After seeing a few, "Our Lips are Sealed" remains one of the better ones. It's got some action, some decent lines, and an endearing "clean" quality to it. You see, I'm a 20 year old male, and I've seen my share of sexy & violent movies. It's nice to see that some people still want to make G-rated movies. However, it's not exactly a "great" movie. . .if you're older than the twins, there's several "eye-roller" moments, and there's not a whole lot of effort to differentiate the girls. If you are a MK & A fan, I'd recommend the DVD, because it has commentary from the girls and other cool features.

Fistful of crap

As I had nothing better to do on 31st of December, in 12:00 PM, I decided to watch a film on television. I thought, well, nothing can be worse than sitting and watching empty wall, or just lying in bed. However, I was wrong. I never watched any of movies with this two girls, and I was not aware of this infinite horror. First two very young chicks catch a criminal and he ends up in prison, alright I said, Americans do a lot of movies with infant heroes. But clichés that followed were to terrible to suffer. Or incredible stupidity of two main characters. I mean when 14 year old kid in witness protection program asks another kid: "Why can't we tell everybody about that?"; she wanted to jeopardize her family and herself only to impress an ugly, stupid boy, who is supposed to be "cute". Terrible. End of course the trap for criminals, which didn't held off ordinary girl but just coloured her and stick feathers to her face. That is why I was sorry to give grade 1 to this film, I think this film earns a steady minus 7, positive numbers can't bear this shame. This film should also have a parental advisory ticket stick to it, and should not be "on air" before midnight, for it can destroy fragile young minds and turn them in shapeless masses of gray and white matter. And of course there is question how the director and actors could have borne such a shame of making and acting in this movie. A piece of s**t, that's what it is!

Cute and Funny but Cheesy

I liked it, it was a good movie with tons of laughs, however it wasn't a great movie.

Positives of the Movie The Movie Had an Interesting Plot Line (The Witness Protection Part) It was Funny The Cute Boys The Fun Filming Location The Great Clothing

Negatives for the Movie -The item stolen -The Country the bad guys came from

The movie was a little bit cheesy. Kind of like when they talked to the audience and froze time.

I would still say to people that they should watch it, especially if they are very young.

Appalling drivel

This film is excruciatingly bad. It's like an episode of Seinfeld without the wit - it's about NOTHING. Avoid this turkey at all costs. The badly written Australian dialogue is so bad that it travels beyond bad. The infantile "storyline" (for want of another word) is so inane that even an average writer would have trouble writing it. The comedy is NOT funny - which is a bit of a drawback for comedy. And the endless shots of prepubescent teens wandering aimlessly about beaches beggars belief. The direction is non existent - need I go on?? Everything about this is EVIL. Who financed this turkey? I know the Olsens have a following of some kind but this drivel is an insult to the intelligence of even the most devoted fan.

Beautiful, just beautiful.

After taking the time out my busy schedule to check out some of the reviews for my all-time favorite movie, I was utterly shocked and upset to find that it had such a low rating! This is a flawlessly produced movie consisting of love, heartbreak, horror, action, and dancing. I can't think of any other movie that contains all of these elements that also keeps the audience entertained throughout the entire movie. It was a truly original story where two sisters along with their family are put into the witness protection program after gunning down a criminal with a bottle of ketchup (LOL!) I thought it was very realistic how the girls kept blabbing about why they had moved to all the different towns. Who can count on teenage girls to keep a secret anyway? Their representation of Australia seemed very accurate and it really makes me want to visit there! They all seem so friendly! Except for that retched Victoria! If I ever see her, I'll sure give her a piece of my mind! My favorite part of the movie was during the surf war! It was exciting, definitely a nail-biter. I love when the boy hurts his widgie. It's hard to tell what he is referring to his widgie at first but then I realized what he meant. That is one of my favorite lines of any movie if you couldn't tell by my user-name! Overall, this is an excellent film. Perfectly scripted, and amazing in every way. I recommend it to EVERYONE!!

Not Bad for a Mary Kate & Ashley film

I couldn't believe it....this has to be the first Mary Kate & Ashley film that the whole family can not only watch together but also enjoy. A wonderful family story with excellent direction, Our Lips Are Sealed is about twin sisters who are re-located after seeing something they shouldn't have.

Long story short it remains a Mary Kate & Ashley film, but it's the best one so far!

It Is Brilliant!

I love the Olsen twins movies they are very entertaining and adorable! each and every one of their films is in some way has got the same sort of story line, like go on vacation, meet boys and then it is all love and romance and thats why people hate them so much, but that is why i like them! i think that olsen twins movies are for girls to be honest so if your a girl and want a little comedy and entertainment i would suggest any olsen twin film because they are all equally brilliant! my favourite is The Challenge and Our lips are sealed! please watch i give it 9/10.

The pain, the horror, Aaaggrrhhh !!!!

I've had the absolute misfortune to come across some of the Olsen twin movies, and I am now scarred for live. Recently I saw 'Our lips are sealed'. If there is an explanation how to describe this piece of trash, let me give it a try. Try to imagine crossing the street and getting hit by 40 ton truck, and all your body parts are flying through the air. Or better yet getting tortured with a torch blower for 90 minutes. After seeing this movie I felt dumber, insulted and sh*tty. I voted this movie 3, so I know that I can't remember it by seeing it on IMDb with a grade 1. Avoid this porker at all cost, even if your life is depending on it.

I hope the middle east doesn't discover this film, to receive information from captured militants.

Teenagers movie

It's a teenagers spy-story movie but good for all ages.

The movie is filmed in Australia and the Olsen twin-sisters are, as always, funny & cute.

The story is around two US sisters (Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen) participating in the FBI "witness protection program" because of problems with a criminal gang.

FBI move Ashley, Mary-Kate and their family to Sidney (Australia) to protect them. There the girlies met new friends and have a lot of fun.

Funny gangsters, sea, sun & surf! This movie is good to be seen in a raining Sunday afternoon.

Some of you are far too negative.

This was my favorite movie growing up. I loved MK & A movies, but especially this one. You guys are forgetting that these movies are for little girls. I always knew that the movies had common themes and were very unrealistic, but so are most children's movies. I was the little girl who liked barbie dolls and tea parties, so of course I loved the movies about twins who always get the cute boys. Bottom line, these films were not made for adults or critics. Sure, looking back, there are things that could have been done better. But this was the early 2000s and they are children making dumb movies for other children. Not all children's movies have to have a ton of substance. This movie is lighthearted and cute.

CAN'T KEEP THERE MOUTH SHUT

This movie was not the greatest olsen movie which happens to be it takes two but that just my opinion but anyway this move seemed dry at times with nothing much happeing at all i would have thought they would of had the bad guys on there back a bit more but instead they were doing the usual stuff like hooking up with cute guys and getting into a popular crowd of people but at this point in there careers thay are starting to grow up. I would give this 6 out of 10

I liked it !

I liked this movie even though I think I'm the only one in my crew that actually did. It was fun, and a good MKA movie. You can just relax and enjoy it. It's funny. Ryan Clark and Scott Swalwell did an amazing job. I think every teenage girl was falling for either one of them in the movie. My choice was Ryan and my sister went for Scott. Anyhow, the cast was great picked ! The only thing I didn't actually like was the beginning because it seemed as an old movie and old movies do not really attract teenagers.

But all in all- it was a fun one ! I recommend it to all of those who just want to chill and enjoy.

My Opinion About An Excellent Movie!

This movie is another excellent choice for any MK&A fan to purchase/watch because it is funny, entertaining and has some very good morals & lessons to teach to the younger generations in the world! I highly recommend this movie/video especially to anyone who hasn't seen it yet (if you have seen it then you already know how truly awesome it is)! Buy it and you'll see what I mean! Of course; I'm a huge MK&A fan, so maybe I'm a little biased here -lol- but if you buy this one you won't be sorry! I promise! It's a real keeper! Sincerely, Rick Morris :-)

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen? You know what I'm thinking...

Whenever I hear the names Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, I cringe. Why? First, these twin girls used to sing and dance in their movies before getting the past the 14 year old stage. Now they're moving on to other projects that actually are pretty good.

The first time I actually enjoyed watching Mary-Kate and Ashley was on the television show, "Two of a Kind." It had some good laughs. But Mary-Kate and Ashley didn't want to do it anymore because the writers made them seem too mean.

Anyway, "Our Lips Are Sealed" is a perfect family film. Fox Family even played it one night and it got many viewers.

The girls witnessed a crime and put members of the mob in jail. So now they're in the Witness Protection Program and after being relocated to places around in the U.S., they are relocated to Australia. Trying to meet new friends and fit in to the now weird Aussie style and way of life, the girls run into the nerd group. They get away from that group and get in the popular clique. Soon they meet two guys, Avery (Scott Swallwell - an awesome actor with great looks and charm) and Ryan. After fighting with the popular clique, Mary-Kate and Ashley are found by the mob but get away after torturing the pair chasing them. You know what happens in the end.

As of now, there is hardly ANY information on Scott Swallwell, who is a hottie. He was perfect playing Avery and luckily, he has a new movie coming this year.

BOTTOM LINE - Girls will mostly like this movie because of Scott and the Olsen twins, but it's a pretty good movie once you watch it. Good story line, some jokes and some sweet eye candy (the twins and Scott Swallwell).

This was bad.

All you MK&A fans out there, please accept the facts: the twins' movies are mindless pieces of junk. They go to some exotic location, meet some *cough* 'hot' boys, (MK falls in love with one, A falls in love with the other, and surprise surprise, both boys fall in love with the right one - that's not always how love is) some big problem arises separating the poor girls from their loves (big deal - they'll have brand-new boyfriends next movie), MK&A solve the problem (WOW, never saw that coming) and become the 'hot' guys' girlfriends. They were cute when they were younger, but now they're teens, they've lost the cute twin thing, and their lack of talent is revealed. They even tried to make a movie about turning sixteen. Oh, and they made dolls strung around that flimsy theme. Millions of people turn sixteen every day. Mary Kate and Ashley are nothing special... And the sad truth is that they're not all that attractive.
