Tiger Street

I knew Zoe Chance (Dana) very well during the making of this film. Though I thought it would be a schlocky martial arts ripoff, Tiger Street was very sly, humorous and unpretentious in its execution. I wish only now that I knew where Ms. Chance was so that I may congratulate her on a job well done and repeat (as another review of this movie already states) that she was easily the best part of this film. The actors displayed their honesty throughout, acting in a way which was honest, a little self-deprecating and, as a result, charming. I do hope more people will see this film and absorb the local color and local beauty I had the joy to be a part of back in Denver, CO, 1998.

Kick-ass low budget indie beat down - very cool martial arts with Julian Lee and Christophe Clark - Awesome! I read some of the other comments - wonder if they actually saw the movie??? See for yourself if you are a fan of martial arts movies - it has elements that reminded me of some of the great old school martial arts movies I used to watch on Saturdays - back in the day before it was 'cool' like it is now.

This is a story about a martial arts teacher who must confront an evil gang - pretty cool script, even though you might find the story familiar. The acting is pretty good, but the fighting is much better - the fights could have been longer, though.

Julian Lee plays "Tiger Sun" who tries to teach kids martial arts and self-confidence -- the self-confidence needed to defy the local drug lord who is turning the kids into dealers and junkies. Tiger Street is a fast-paced action movie that contains a message about fighting for what you believe is right and finding your own path in the world despite pressure.

Beyond the message, Julian Lee and a team of stunt people deliver some high action fight scenes.
