Mil Mascaras eliminated himself after jumping from the top rope and performing a diving cross body onto Pierroth who he'd just eliminated on the floor, it has been suggested that Mascaras eliminated himself on purpose because he felt he was a mega star and the WWF didn't promote him as that for the PPV.
During his stay with the WWF, Razor Ramon has competed at the Royal Rumble only in championship matches consecutively from 1993-1996. He faced Bret Hart for the WWF Championship in 1993 and from 1994-1996 he competed in matches for the WWF Intercontinental Championship or defending it. "Razor Ramon" did compete in the 1997 Rumble, however by that point he was being portrayed by Rick Bogner, not Scott Hall, who originated the character.
