Look, this plot is horrible. HORRIBLE! This movie wants to be a very sexy version of The Usual Suspects. It does not succeed. Granted if your primary goal is just to get a look at Angie Everhart in all her glory then that is another matter. She certainly looks fantastic and that might make it worth renting. Having a laugh while telling your friends that you actually watched a Richard Grieco movie also might make it worth renting. How can anyone possibly take Richard Grieco seriously?!?! Angie Everhart may actually have some talent, but roles like this do nothing to build her credibility. If she's got to get naked to get a role, at least do it in a better movie.
Another obvious attempt to cash in on the "Basic Instinct" craze about Law Enforcement officials getting a little too sexually involved with their charges. The story would have worked better if the antagonist had been a little more menacing.
However, Angie Everhart seems to have that 40's style screen siren glow that has been sadly missing from the movies for decades. All light on the set seems to radiate from her when she is on the set, despite a few lapses by the Director of Photography.
She also does a very competent job of striking a balance between a vengeful parole case worker and a sexually repressed (more like kinky sexually repressed), but knowingly gorgeous women.
I hope Angie finds her break through role. If she doesn't, I guess she can always marry the prince of Monaco!

Well, as far as I'm concerned this is certainly a "B" movie. I enjoy a good B movie and this would be one of them.
It's a cross between "Never Talk to Strangers" and "9 1/2 Weeks." I really find Angie Everhart quite pretty and although I've never been nuts on Richard Grieco, I did notice one thing . . . the two of them together emitted an intense chemistry just like that of the Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke combo.
She is his probation officer after he was found guilty for manslaughter by killing her best friend via sexual asphyxiation. The curiosity about him gets the best of her and she finds herself beginning to slip outside the professional boundaries of her job. This causes her to tell him on the phone that she will no longer see him outside of the office.
Of course - what happens? She works late that night . . . alone . . .in the dark and then he comes prowling into the office, with a straight edge razor in hand (he collected them), he uses the back of the razor to trace the outline of her face and neck while standing behind her, I tell you, I felt her fear and excitement and just the taboo of it all and I guarantee you, the chemistry worked and was worth seeing despite the movie being a B, despite the secondhand actors and weak plot - the chemistry and the touching of the taboo sexual practices was actually quite refreshing.
This is what I would term, "Very Good" bad TV.

Richard Grieco (TV's Booker) is, Gale, a pale-faced artist who is under suspecion for the murder of Beth's (Angie Everhart) friend. Of course Beth slowly gets closer to Gale then a parole officer really should. This makes Joe, her boyfriend mad and in my opinion, rightfully so. I liked this film a tad more then I thought i would going into it. Perhaps the abundant display of the stunningly beautiful Everhart's mammeries had to do with my appreciation of the film. Because I sure know the stupid, stupid ending plot twist didn't.

I bought this on DVD for £2 not really expecting much. I knew the two leads but no one else in the film. Ms Everhart had impressed me in small roles in Jade & Trigger Happy. Richard Grieco is a reasonably competent C grade actor but I didn't expect too much, I was quite surprised.
For me this movie worked if you don't expect too much. I thought Angie Everhart was attractive and quite competent in her role and Richard Grieco was relatively believable in his role. The ending was pretty good and overall it was not a great movie, but one I would watch again. Some scenes were quite erotic and Ms Everharts nudity was worthwhile. Certainly better than most Shannon Tweed, Shannon Whirry offerings.
