The cat ventures behind the Mini's father's car rear wheel and is killed accidentally while the car is reversed. The cat is buried in the backyard without the knowledge of Bunty. Bunty finds another cat which bears an uncanny resemblance to the dead cat. The scenario where dead cat came back alive inspired from Pet Sematary which came in 1991. At last scene you can see Bunty holding the cat in his room and the movie ending with spooky sounds.

Ramgopal Verma's another horror film Bhoot (2003) had quite many similarities with this film: The lead actress being possessed, the theater scene, a brutal murder by twisting neck, creepy old lady in the neighboring house, psychiatrist trying to help the family, domestic help suggests about past incidents in the house, spirit of a deceased person still lingering in the house, tantric being brought to help and conflict between psychiatrist and tantric.
