The first thing to mention is that the name is Hero Raghava "Whate a performance sir" kill the charecter. But in some scenes he feels sorry for himself. Sooooo impressed.

Vamsi sir direction different way. Songs classic.krishnabagavan sir charecter so matured and frd charecter impressed.heroine charecter am not accepted. But the movie did exactly what it was supposed to do.so impressed. But personally I did not like the heroine character. Last but one word cult classic.

Hero's performance is amazing; it's the highlight of the film. All characters are very realistic; including heroine's. It's possible that no matter how much you love someone, the other person may not reciprocate it; in which case, you have accept the rejection and move on, but the hero couldn't accept the rejection and that takes him into a downturn, eventually becoming mentally ill. But, a very sincere lover.

Overall, hatsoff to the Director Vamsy for giving a movie like this in 1988; it's far ahead of the times.

Music is still chartbusters.

Definitely a must watch.

Must Watch : Vamsy's Maharshi (1987) - a true cult classic which explores the journey of 4 awesomely etched characters - a person who isn't able to pull himself out of love, a person who isn't able to pull herself out of hate, a friend who can go to any extent to see his friend happy, an ideal understanding husband ! Truly the characters Maharshi, Suchitra, Ramana & Tilak are some of the best characterisations to dawn onto a Telugu film ! A beautiful character arc of someone who is extremely arrogant & doesn't give a hoot to what others think to that of a person who craves for love . Add to all this are some of the best performances, whacky direction of the vintage 80s Vamsy, great dialogues by Tanikella Bharani garu, lyrics by Vennelakanti and one of the finest albums of Maestro Ilaiyaraaja. Immerse yourself into the magical world of cinema and transport yourself to the 80s : this is one of the best for sure....

Such a great lovestory in Telugu. Director vamsi made this movie tremendous. Characters are truly unbelievable performance's.
