- Sebastian: [mimicking King Triton] "Sebastian, you watch over her," he said. I'm too old for this! A crab my age should be retired! Getting a tan! Playing sea golf! Sipping a Tuna Colada! Not babysitting another teenager.
- Morgana: A party!
- [cackling]
- Morgana: I didn't miss the cake and ice cream, did I?
- King Triton: Morgana? Surrender the baby or I'll.
- Morgana: Ah ah ah!
- [kisses Melody]
- Morgana: Ursula simply would have loved to come, but something came up.
- [climbing up the side of the ship]
- Morgana: Now what was it? Oh yes, you all shishcabbobed her! One minute you're on top, the next you're sushi. And I asked you gramps is that fair? But then who said we had to play fair? Oh Undertow!
- Undertow: Make way, little mershrimp! I'm coming through!
- [opens mouth]
- Morgana: [holding Melody above Undertow's mouth] Now hand over the trident or you precious granddaughter is sharkchow!
- King Triton: You can have anything you want; just don't harm little Melody.
- Morgana: Well, I get the trident, avenge poor unfortunate Ursula, and gain all the powers of the ocean! And it's not even 10:00, not a bad morning.
- Morgana: [has Ariel trapped in her tentacle] Your mommy was only trying to protect you from moi. What she did, she did out of.
- [squeezes Ariel's cheeks]
- Morgana: Love!
- [lets go of Ariel's cheeks]
- Morgana: Little Melody's been a very naughty girl, stealing from her own grandfather.
- Melody: My grandfather?
- Morgana: King Triton! Ruler of Atlantica. Commander of the sea.
- [wraps her tentacle around Ariel's mouth]
- Morgana: At least he was until some thief came along.
- Melody: You tricked me!
- Morgana: You've got no one to blame but yourself.
- King Triton: [referring to Melody] Sebastian, you will watch over her.
- Sebastian: Me? Aw!
- [faints, falling off of his rock and into the sea]
- Ariel: We have to keep Melody away from her. Until Morgana is found Melody can't go in the sea.
- Flounder: But Ariel.
- Ariel: I'm sorry Flounder, but if Morgana is anything like Ursula, she will never give up. This is the only way. Melody can't know about merpeople or Atlantica or even about you, Daddy.
- King Triton: Very well, Ariel, you're right.
- Morgana: This isn't the end, Triton! It's just the beginning!
- [Starts laughing]
- King Triton: After her!
- Morgana: [Continues laughing; off screen] You'll never find me, but I'll find you! And your precious granddaughter!
- King Triton: We must not rest until that mad woman is vanquished! Find her! FIND HER!
- [Starts lighting and thundering]
- Morgana: Sweetheart, hand me my trident now.
- Melody: [realizing the truth] All this time, and you never told me?
- Morgana: Kept the most important secret in her whole life from her own daughter.
- Ariel: Please, give it to me, Melody.
- Morgana: No, hand it to me. It's for your own good.
- Ariel: She's lying!
- Morgana: I've given you what you've always wanted
- [to Ariel]
- Morgana: *She's* the one who lied to you all these years.
- Ariel: I was trying to protect you.
- Melody: By fencing me in? You knew how much I loved the sea. Why did you keep the truth from me?
- Ariel: Melody, listen to me. If there was one thing in my life that I could do over, I...
- Melody: [she swims towards Morgana] Too late, Mom.
- Ariel: Melody, no!
- Ariel: Where did you get this?
- [holding a locket given to Melody by King Triton]
- Melody: I I found it.
- Ariel: You went over the wall, didn't you?
- Melody: Actually, I went under it. I hate that stupid wall!
- Ariel: Melody, you know you're not allowed in the sea.
- Melody: But why? And why does that necklace have my name on it?
- Ariel: Melody, listen to me.
- Melody: You're hiding something from me!
- Ariel: You deliberately disobeyed me! I never want you going out there again! Do you hear me? It's dangerous in the sea!
- Melody: How would you know? You've never even been in it!
- Morgana: [after failing to turn Undertow back into a shark] Oh, it's just no use! The power of the trident is just too strong for me to overcome!
- [flops down on her chair]
- Undertow: [under his breath] I bet Ursula could've done it...
- Morgana: [outraged] *What.* *Was that.* *You said*...?
- Undertow: Nothing. I'm just saying.
- Morgana: [Morgana throws a potion bottle across the room] Stop criticising me! That's all my mother ever did, was criticise me! It was always, "Ursula" this and "Ursula" that, or "Morgana, why can't you be more like your sister, URSULA!"
- [she throws a starfish dart at Ursula's photo]
- Undertow: Well, it isn't Ursula's fault I got miniturized! It's yours!
- Morgana: Is not!
- Undertow: It's your fault that we had to hide out here for 12 frost bitten years!
- Morgana: IS NOT!
- Undertow: It's your fault that we can't show our faces in polite society again!
- Morgana: [in Undertow's face] You're *really* pushing it, small fry!
- Morgana: Tell me, Melody. Is being a mermaid everything you dreamed? Was it worth it?
- [throws Melody inside a cave]
- Flounder: Melody!
- Morgana: [she starts covering the cave entrance with ice] Oh, and by the way, your time as a mermaid has just about expired. Catch you later. I've got bigger fish to fry!
- Eric: Ariel, maybe you should go with him.
- Ariel: But, Eric...
- Eric: I need to stay here and lead the search on land. But you know these waters, and you know our daughter. You have to go.
- King Triton: It may be dangerous.
- Ariel: Eric's right, Daddy. I should have known I couldn't keep Melody from the sea. It's a part of her. And a part of me. I have to go.
- Eric: Bring her home.
- Flounder: Oh, but if that old sea witch is in there, and then there's that mean little shark... and then those manta rays come, a-and then she takes those-those creepy tentacles... so suction cups stick to your face, and, and... Uh. Uh-uh. No way you're goin' in there alone.
- Mother Penguin: Help! Someone please! Help! Hold on sweetie we'll save you.
- Baby Penguin: Help! Mama! Hurry!
- Melody: Mom, put down the brush. It's hopeless.
- Ariel: Oh. You look beautiful.
- Melody: Do I have to do this? Everyone thinks I'm weird.
- Ariel: Oh, honey, everyone has trouble fitting in at your age. I know I did. I was a regular fish out of water.
- Melody: You? No way. I'm just so afraid I'm gonna make a total fool of myself.
- Ariel: Melody, this isn't just about the party... is it?
- Ariel: Is there something you want to talk about? You know you can always tell me anything.
- Melody: Well, okay. I mean, it's kind of crazy and sort of impossible. Now, don't freak, but what I dream about... more than anything in the whole world...
