Charming Shashi Kapoor & Cute Moushumi

This film is one of my favorite film's of the Great Shashi Kapoor sahab. Mainly because he's in the film, his pairing with cute Moushumi chatterji, the story is good, etc.

Probably the only film in which we get to see two different hair styles of Shashi Kapoor (because it was shot at different times before the genre and story of the film changed later on).

Moushumi is really a talented actress and undoubtedly one of the most cutest ever in the Indian Cinema history. Same goes for the Great Shashi Kapoor, one of the most handsome ever.

Overall, the film is a good watch, enjoyable, clean family film. A Shashi Kapoor film.

The film was planned as action thriller on the lines of James Bond. A major part of the film was shot abroad. But Rajshree suddenly got married and left for America, leaving a dozen films incomplete. The producer of Naina did not know what to do in this sudden situation. So then they decided to change the story into a romantic one based on "Rebecca" and retain the songs shot with Shashi Kapoor and Rajshree. Moushami Chatterjee was signed to replace Rajshree. The script was then changed to Rajshree being Shashi Kapoor's first wife so they could use the already shot songs in the film.
