IDK How to say the impact of film made me to write here... Intense,abnormal,aesthetic,powerpacked story inbounded with screenplay and crew with worth efficient musical of maestro... Other than the critics and spoilers some of the valuable aspects of this movie was quite intresting... people who live in the world are like normal ones like their views,thoughts... but here a psychopath's view is quite intended... Every person who deserves a learning should compulsorily watch this... No words to Built Up... Completely Balu Mahendra a Forever living legend...

The film was absolutely class,it can even be compared to the best of those times(early 1980's),Balu Mahendra cinematography took to a different level, Ilayaraja's Background score and songs where sheer world class,ofcourse he was on top of the world with his innovative music and also being his 100th film,The film surely reminds of Hitchcock's 'psycho',as Balu Mahendra said it's a small dedication to the master film maker,As the performance of the lead actors was brilliant,the credit goes to the director Balu Mahendra...It would have been great if both the director and the music director did some similar movies... because we would have enjoyed even after 40 years like this

Storyline is identical to Sigapurojakal which was released 2 years before this but what made this movie a special one is the way it was directed and shot by Balumahendra. Prathap pothan and shobas performance was outstanding, Mastreos music was commendable. This will be one of the best in Tamil thriller calssics.

Pratap has a traumatic childhood . He goes on killing prostitutes . He is in love with Shoba who refuses to marry him as she is engaged to some one else . He kidnaps her and holds her hostage in his Ooty bungalow ( what locales , what weather , what photography ... ) . Her people come and rescue her in the end . The main cast has acted beautifully . Mohan plays a small role as a photographer . He shines even then . Pratap has the eyes and mannerisms of an awkward weird person from first scene itself . I had seen this in theatres long long time back and recently watched it onyoutube a few more times.
