Burglar from Hell

"One of the great titles for a film,Right up there with Blair Witch,GEE,I wonder what they are about !" This horror is from 1993,and its camera work doesn't age well,maybe SVHS transferred to DVDR, Slight issue,But could have been so much clearer. The plot moves pretty well,This Burglar steals from a old lady,She kills him and a seance years later resurrects his Hellish remnants. Switching the bad-guy half way thru with a poorly executed mask doesn't add to urban legend.Phil Herman has done many videos like this ,but,This is probably the most memorable for it's title and Debbie D cameo. Amazing that same Phil Herman who did this is doing the MIDNIGHT series,'Learned a boatload of kewl skool' in 13 years .* out of *****

As far as Slasher movies go this is way ahead of the others.It is in the traditon of Friday The 13th and has great gore FX and story for a low budget movie.It has plenty of gore and T/ A to satisfy the most diehard gore hound fans. The story is simple but well played out. A burglar is killed by and old lady , when he try robbiong her house,she kill shim and burys him in her backyard. She dies of a heart attack from the strain of it all and the secret of his burial also dies. A year later the house is rented out to a group of college kids and the fun begins. A fake seance brings the Burglar to Life with supernatural powers.Phil herman and Barry Gaines permanet fixtures with Falcon Video who put this out do great with there roles. Also the lucious debbie D show her assets to the camera and jiggles her way flleing from the Burglar.Co star Nancy Felciaino are also well received. Check out for a great weekend popcorner.
