Duck Hunt

Player 2 could control the ducks. But the real fun was the clay pigeons, and then the competition. It was a single player game, but it was always the competition that made it fun.

Just trying to beat your dad's score... or uncles, or friends, or siblings, the crown of out shooting someone, with a cord that had to be stretched back as far as it would go to count.

It was a classic.

Duck Hunt is one of the most exciting video games! The characters, the action, the shooting, and the sure thrill of excitement makes this game a fun non-stop playing time! Below is a brief look how I think the game is!

Game Play: The game play is very good. There is really basic controls here and is easy to perform. Novice gamers should have a good time here!

Graphics: The graphics are wonderful especially for the Nintendo System! The backgrounds are really beautiful!

Difficulty: The game is easy but as it goes on you find out that it will become more difficult!

Music: The music is great! Just fantastic catchy tunes through out the game! In My opinion its some of the best music ever in a video game!

Sound: The sound is great. Nuff said!

Overall: I have always loved Duck Hunt! If you like shooting and sports games then I strongly recommend you play this game!

Seriously. This is probably the most boring NES game I have ever played. It beats out Yoshi's Cookie for one of the worst Nintendo games made. You basically shoot ducks with the gun thing, boring. If I wanted a light gun game type of thing I'd buy House Of The Dead 2 & 3 Return on the Wii or just go to Funtime America and play classic gun games such as CarnEvil and The House Of The Dead. This game is overrated and very very boring. I only recommend this to people wanting to waste their lives away, unless you're just playing for pure nostalgia, which I have none for this game.

"Duck Hunt" for sure is an NES classic as this game and console came with "Super Mario Brothers" as part of the deal when I received my gaming system in the late 80's. And I must say this game was a fun winner, really an easy play as with the gun zapper you as the player just aimed and fired at flying ducks on the screen. It was nice downing duck and seeing your score go up, however the higher the level the faster the ducks got and the quicker they flew as your reaction time and hand eye speed and trigger pull on the zapper needed to be faster and quicker! Heck even my grandfather played this game some and enjoyed it. Need I say more an early classic video game that helped launch the NES era to a famed start.

This is one of the first video games I have ever played. In this game, you have to shoot at birds. If you miss one, a dog jumps out of the bushes and start laughing at you. If you didn't miss, the dog will hold up the bird that you shot down. You can choose to shoot at one or two birds at the same time. I would warn you the game gets harder, when you reach a higher level.

I give this game 7 out of 10
