For Blanca Guerra, her character, Felipa the teacher, is one of the most interesting she's portrayed in her film career. It's about a woman who has to experience a secret passion for a boy and the script included a brief sex scene between her and thirteen-year-old Daniel Acuña. "Before I knew who was going to play the boy," the actress said, "I thought that, as soon as I saw him, I would feel an overwhelming passion that would accentuate all my eroticism. When I met Daniel, I realized that the boy didn't move me at all from a sexual point of view. In fact, what happened to me is what happens in the film: the teacher doesn't start out with a great passion for the boy. Their relationship is a circumstance of shared loneliness."
