Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, Inc. has sold 10 local TV stations to Gray Media for $171 million.

The deal, which Gray expects to close in the fourth quarter subject to regulatory approval and closing conditions, will bring Gray into three new local TV markets: Columbus-Tupelo, Mississippi; Terre Haute, Indiana; and West Lafayette, Indiana. Alien: Earth is a prequel to the original film, set on Earth (as the title implies), as a space vessel containing monstrous cargo crash lands, setting off a fight between dueling companies to gain control over the specimens it contains. Although the concept of bringing this typically space-based concept to Earth may seem like a risky endeavor, it actually allows Hawley to enrich the world in compelling ways.

Stamos’ last minute casting comes after Josh Gad announced yesterday that he would no longer occupy the throne on Friday night.

Just like armors have their perks, helmets can receive one too. Is it too much to ask? No. Would fans love to have it? Absolutely, yes. The more features we get, the merrier. Furthermore, the addition of a perk system for helmets will shake up the meta. Which in turn would make the gameplay more dynamic than ever.

There’s a lot of room to play around with the helmet perk system. If the Helldivers 2 developers wish, they could proceed with the idea. However, it is questionable whether Arrowhead will implement the feature. Still, if we can get an armor customization, why not hope for this one as well?...

Alien: Earth is set to bring a new perspective and fresh storyline to honour the original masterpiece and Ridley Scott’s legacy. Appearing at the San Diego Comic-Con 2025 (via Black Girl Nerds), the esteemed creator and visionary Noah Hawley and the cast talked about staying true to the original piece of art while also incorporating a persona required for a television landscape. Talking about what it means to be a part of an Alien franchise, Hawley stated,

“Well, it’s a gift really. You know, I have a relationship with the movies that I adapt at this point and I do it from a place of love.”

The Alien franchise is all set to break new ground with Alien: Earth, the first live-action TV series set in its iconic xenomorph-bursting universe. It is set two years before the 1979 film, Alien, and takes place on Earth instead of a ship journeying through space. The show will explore a dystopian Earth controlled by mega-corporations where alien threats and synthetic life will collide.

Created by Noah Hawley and executive produced by Ridley Scott, this Hulu and FX original will introduce a new crew to the acid-blood creatures. After a series of immersive experiences at Austin and Las Vegas, FX is pulling out all the stops for “Alien: Earth” at Sdcc this year.

FX will host the series’ World Premiere in San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 1:25pm – 2:50pm and transform the Hilton Bayfront lawn into “The Wreckage,” a uniquely immersive experience which allows guests to step into the terrifying world of “Alien: Earth”.
