Dagteo Bong

This film revolves around Dr. Bong, a dentist with a little son and appetite for going out with women. The son wants a mother, and finally meets a woman that he likes. However, the father hates her, due to a feud that starts between them after they hit each other's cars. What follows is a typical, yet still funny account of their escapades and the son's attempts to get them together. . .

This film had a large audience when it first came out at theater. This one just an average, predictable romantic comedy, but it has New style - actually the first movie which is tried to follow Hollywood romantic movie.

The basic plot is a mixture "Sleepless in Seattle" and "You've got mail". A young man who's a widower, dentist lives with his son. A son sees a beautiful woman who's neighbor. he tried to match his father with this woman. but their relationship aren't worked easily.

I am a very rare hard core fan of South Korean films. I speak the language because I was born there and lived there for a few years. It's such a pity that the British or the Americans will never understand the humour that is used in South Korean films. If you can understand them, you will know that this film is nothing short of explode-yer-belly funny. Suk-Kyu Han is right now the biggest film star in South Korea, and he's recently starred in a film called 'Swiri' which has broken all records in Korea. Han is marvellous in this film, and he proves his versatility by playing the comical character.

If there are any other Brits out there who can get the Korean humour, I recommend he/she watches this film.
