This story of an innocent would-be photograph and his girlfriend, embroiled into a terrorist group due to a layoff of employees including his father and being arrested illegally by the police is well told despite some flaws.
This terrorist group goes from kidnapping key politicians and scrapping electoral rallies, as well as catching a minister of Parliament in a compromising position. When they kill accidentally three people due to a mistaken bomb scare, they are targeted...

- TriviaThe film is very loosely based on the 1970 October Crisis in Québec. The character Pierre Lemoyne (the leader of the independence party) is based on the actual founder of the Parti Québécois, René Lévesque ("Le moine" means "the monk" while "L'évêque" means "the bishop").
