On a lazy Athenian morning of a warm summer Sunday, Mina, a young and fresh saleswoman, decides to go for a splash, only to have her chronically empty purse stolen, and with it, a soon-to-be winning lottery ticket. And just like that, fate, and a pair of juvenile delinquents looking for a quick buck, will bring together unfortunate Mina and Alexis, the ticket's handsome new owner, against the backdrop of irritating and fruitless litigation. Mina is a charming salesgirl. She buys a lottery ticket, but she finds out soon that it has been stolen from her. Pavlos, a married lawyer, enamored with her, helps her to track down the ticket. After a while they discover it at a penniless musician's hands, who had bought it from a street kid. When Alexis, the musician, wins the lottery, Mina claims the money with the help of the lawyer.
