I must admit that when I sat down to watch this 1997 movie titled "Good Burger" I wasn't really having much of any high expectations or hopes for the movie. But still, it being a movie that I hadn't already seen was sufficient to make me give the movie a chance.
And "Good Burger" was actually an adequate movie. Sure, it was aimed at a younger audience, as this was a Nickelodeon movie after all. But still, the movie had a good enough storyline that proved to be entertaining enough for a single viewing.
It was a combination of a whacky storyline and some odd characters that actually made "Good Burger" worthwhile watching. I mean, the storyline wasn't exactly storytelling at a grandiose level, but it just had something charming about that actually worked well in its favor.
Needless to say that the odd characters were nicely brought to life on the screen by the two lead actors, those being Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson. But the movie also had great support performances from the likes of Sinbad and Abe Vigoda.
I am sure that a younger audience will most certainly find some greater enjoyment in "Good Burger".
My rating of this 1997 movie from writers Dan Schneider, Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert lands on a six out of ten stars.

Unlike most people who saw the movie, I enjoyed it. Granted, it's not the greatest film ever made. But I liked watching Kel Mitchell perform. Hopefully he'll get better roles as his career progresses. He is a natural actor.
It's a FUN movie! As college educated parents of a 12 year old and a 5 year old, this is one of our favorites and I registered with IMDb just to comment on this movie since everyone else seems to be slamming it. Loads of fun but not for anyone looking for "good theater". It's pure silliness for kids; with bad logic and improbable plot lines, and the kids are of course the heroes. So if you are just looking for some plain clean fun to watch with your kids, I suggest this one! And there's no dancing bears or singing furniture (but, there are flying, talking hamburgers...) So here's the scoop, if you want an educational show for your kids, go elsewhere. But if you want to sit down, eat popcorn and laugh, get this one.
At what? Excellent comedy!!! There is not one actor that is funnier than those guys!!!! As a huge fan of All That, and the sketch Good Burger, I was excited to finally see this movie! I wasn't disappointed!!! Good Burger is one of my favorite films and All That and Kenan & Kel are two of my favorite shows! Also when I was watching this movie, near the beginning, was I surprised to see another one of my favorite All That stars, Josh Server! (His role could have been bigger!!) Plus, there is the excellent Sinbad!! A great movie if your a fan of All That
I'm so annoyed coming to IMDb and these so called critics (if you're really a superior critic then what are you doing online at a website coming and pointing out FLAWS in a kids movie?) I saw this when it came out and I was a kid then. I liked it. Enough said.
Kids will enjoy it (though I'm not too sure today because they might not be familiar with who Kenan and Kel are *cough*geniuses*cough* all kids that watch All That today know the basiness of the cast members that are currently on there (they suck) Though, if your a fan of the classic All That or Kenan & Kel then you'll like this film.
It's goofy but like I said it's a kids movie, what do you expect?

¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaAccording to Kel Mitchell, Abe Vigoda, who was 76 at the time of filming, was able to run and climb over fences on set despite his age.
- ErroresWhen the Demented Hills patients are dancing, one man is in a straitjacket. It alternates between open and closed.
- Créditos curiososThe crew and second unit are headlined as "Good Crew" and "Good Second Unit".
- Versiones alternativasWhen this movie originally aired on Nickelodeon, two actors from the original film were brought into brief recording sessions to both re-dub two lines that were deem inappropriate for a kids network. Abe Vigoda's line "I think I broke my ass" was changed to "I think I broke my tail", while George Clinton changes his "Ooh, this music sucks" to "Ooh, this music stinks". The original lines were revived when the movie aired on Nick@Nite in 2007.
