Sweat

An excellent series which I have only just been able to see in full for the first time. Shockingly the series was butchered when it was shown on UK TV years ago and every single reference to one of the characters being gay was edited out, making some of the broadcast episodes nonsensical and pointless.

I seen this show when it was on the ABC years ago. Was good to see the ABC have a gay person on TV. It showed how hard it can be for a gay teen to come out. (and he fact it was Heath wasn't too bad either) The show was a 1st on Australian TV, (I) had never seen a gay person on Australian TV that wasn't there for comic relief. At the time when gay teens all over the world where taking their own lives it was good to be able to see someone live through coming out to friends and family. a few of he actors from the show have gone on to have good careers in TV and film. Cheers to the ABC for offering this platform for Australian teens to launch their career. Anyway if you get the chance you should have a look it is a good show!
