I'm too young remember Live Aid(1985) but this one I didn't miss! The best concert ever with an all star cast of the greatest artists of the 80's and 90's. Many great moments but James Hetfield's version of Stone Cold Crazy and Elton John & Axl Rose version of Bohemian Rhapsody stands out.
A must for anyone who loves rock n roll!

When Queen's frontman Freddie Mercury succumbed to AIDS in 1991 it was a blow to the music world, and it ended a 20 year legacy. However, as Freddie was never one to do things by half-measures, the surviving members of Queen decided to give him the biggest sendoff in history. The result was a massive charity (for the Mercury-Phoenix Trust AIDS foundation) concert that took place at Wembley Stadium, England. Some of the biggest names in music came to perform, everyone from Elton John,George Michael and David Bowie to Spinal Tap, Guns 'n' Roses and Metallica. The concert was divided into two sections: the bands played their own songs in the first half, and then the superstars joined Queen onstage to perform Queen's greatest hits. A tremendous concert for all those involved. Music from the 60's to the 90's is played, so it has something for everyone. This concert helps the legend of Freddie Mercury live on.
This concert tribute to the late Freddie Mercury (frontmen of legendary UK rock band QUEEN) is a great performance. There are so many guest appearances, including Elton John, Def Leppard and Axl Rose.
There are many musical performances, but the most popular -- and best -- has to be the reinterpretation of Queen's most famous song, Bohemian Rhapsody, which is performed here by Elton John and Axl Rose. It's a great performance, a great song -- and it sounds (arguably) even better with John and Rose singing it. (Although Queen fans may disagree on that one.) Overall this is a great performance and everyone involved is giving 100%. And for the record, I absolutely loved the performance of We Will Rock You, which is probably the second best song here - and it's really well performed.
Worth watching.

Queen were and still are without a doubt the best band that ever graced planet earth.
This very emotional tribute concert pays tribute to one of the worlds most powerful rock legends ever, the great Freddie Mercury who sadly died in November 1991 from AIDS.
The Freddie Mercury tribute concert boasts a whole lot of stars. From George Michael who did an amazing job when singing "somebody to love" to Elton John, who was a close friend of Freddie's. Heavy metal groups like Guns n Roses and Metallica performed with style to.
Overall a very good and emotional concert.

This concert was everything it lived up to be. The bands did a very good job performing. My personal favorite performance was the one put on by Extreme. The tape showed alot of Archive footage of Freddie Mercury, as well as Queen. From the beginning of Queen's career, to the very end.
The concert has alot of great moments, especially Liz Taylor making her big begging speech to the crowd. The tape is for everyone, Queen fans, or fans wanting to know about Queen. The same goes for Freddie Mercury as well. This is real great concert to watch, rent it, or buy it, you will be very pleased.
