The song 'Ek Baat Maan Lo Tum' composed by Rajesh Roshan is clearly lifted from the song 'Minnie The Moocher' of 'The Blues Brothers' Original soundtrack.
When Rakesh Roshan and his unit had gone to East Africa with his unit, he also had taken Sharukh Khan and Naghma together and he shot a song on a bicycle on them in East Africa for his home production King Uncle. The song was Iss Jahan Hai Nahi Hai Tumhare Ankhen.....sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Nitin Mukesh.
In the start of the movie title music is actually taken from a famous American television program called Dallas. Even the camera work from the helicopter shooting the scenery has been inspired from Dallas' s introduction credits.
Films like My Love (shashi kapoor) Hoshiyar and Vishwatma, Khel was also shot in Kenya and Tanzania East Africa. Even the movie which was tittled No.1, produced Bubby Kent and directed by Deepak Bahry was shot in the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in year 1987 and that was before Vishwatma & Khel. Mithun Chakravorty, Danny Denzongpa, Dimple, Anita Raaj, Kimi Katkar, Ranjeet were in Tanzania for about 1 month for the shooting and about 10 reels were completed. Due to unknown reason the film was not completed. The music was by Laxmikant-Pyarelal and Farooq Kaiser wrote all the songs and all the songs were recorded and some were already picturised. It was eagerly awaited film and the only film to be shot in Tanzania. No.1 wasn't completed and not released, it was a big disappointment.
Rakesh Roshan appeared in one scene in this film.
