Aullido VI

To describe this movie in one word I would say S**T, and if given more words it's a stinker of epic proportions. This movie promises Werewolf Vs Vampire in a nail biting showdown but what you get is about five minutes of wrestling ending with the vampires death. WOW nailbiting huh. Do not get this movie out, you have been warned.

Howling VI (1991) was another entry in the never ending Howling saga. Thia one takes place in a small town. A sleazy little carnival is in town. Follow close by is a mysterious young man. The creepy owner of the carnival takes a liking to the kid. But does he have ulterior motives? The kid meets a nice young girl and the two become good friends. But the carny wants the girl too and what's left of the dying town.

Somewhat different take on the series. The ever so pretty Carol Lynley has a small role as the town's matriarch. Antonio Fargas has a small role as well. The shady Bruce Payne also co-stars in this bizarre flick that has a heavy jones for Paul Naschy films. Hey buddy, don't bite off the man. Try and be original for a change.

Mediocre stuff, but watchable.

Without a doubt one of the most disappointing movies I have ever seen. It starts off promisingly, but nothing happens. There are no actual werewolves in it - the hero turns into a wolfman, and the bad guy a purple thing. And they have a lame fight. This is a disgrace to one of the great horror movies the original The Howling. Garbage. Only two people get attacked by a werewolf.

Like I say it's not that good there's allot bad to say about this movie. The acting mostly sucked and when it didn't suck it just wasn't good. The dialogue and writing mostly sucked as well and the directing also mostly sucked you can probably tell that almost everything in this movie mostly sucks but that isn't to say it doesn't have one or two redeeming factors.

For example Bruce Payne Gives a good performance and makes an OK villain. There is on standout line of dialogue that goes something like this

Sheriff with gun pointed and Bruce Payne' don't move or I'll blow your nuts off" Bruce Payne' then I certainly won't move"

That's not exactly it but you get the point. The lead character was somewhat likable but the actor playing him wasn't believable enough and the actress playing the leads love interest was. The FX were ok and by far the best thing about this movie was the werewolf itself yes it was cheap and looked nothing like the howling werewolves but it was still creepy looking especially the face.

Anyways I say don't bother with it unless you catch it on TV and there's nothing else good on you might sort of like a little.

In THE HOWLING VI: THE FREAKS, a circus / freak show, run by a mysterious man, comes to a small town. Meanwhile, another mysterious stranger arrives, and many secrets come to light. The revealing of the true identities of these men leads to an explosive finale.

This installment in the seemingly endless HOWLING "series" does indeed contain several freaks, including those played by Antonio Fargas and Deep Roy! Though absurd in spots, this movie actually holds up rather well, and is certainly better than some of the other entries. The carnival itself is fairly cool, featuring some bizarre characters (The Chicken Biter! Alligator Boy!). Of course, lycanthropy plays a role as well...
