You can't trust the specials like the old-time coppers, so when a new tough-talking DA wants to clean the streets of crime (don't they all?) he ropes in three ageing police officers to wipe the city clean. Oh, and just to insert some spurious interest, he throws in with them a similarly venerable (and retired) con man. Hey presto: comedy.

Give me a "B". Give me an "O". Give me an "R". Give me an "I". Give me an "N". Give me a "G".
What do I have? GREYHOUNDS.
The description of this film states... "Three old cops are sent back on the streets to clean up crime their own way."
That is not exactly true. They are not SENT back on the streets. In fact, they are warned numerous times to stop interfering in the case they have CHOSEN to investigate. They do not clean up crime their own way. They simply help solve a crime.
Overall, the highlight of this movie is the acting. The storyline is slow and boring. The storyline is also somewhat ridiculous.
Personally, if you are having a hard time going to sleep, do not count sheep. Watch this movie, because I found it to be an awesome snoozefest. But, that's just me.
