- Penny: It would be best if you didn't attend the aerobics classes. He might get the wrong idea.
- Laura Black: What?
- Penny: The clothes?
- Laura Black: [angrily] You DON'T get it, lady! The problem here is Richard Farley! Not me!
- Richard Farley: Hi, Larry!
- [walking towards the building carrying 2 shotguns, a rifle, 2 pistols & over 200 rounds of ammunition]
- Lawrence Kane: You can't be serious!
- Richard Farley: [turns to face Kane]
- Richard Farley: Hey Larry!
- [Kane turns around]
- Richard Farley: Cowboys and Indians!
- [Farley fires his shotgun at Kane, then turns his gun on another car that has just driven up. He misses, so he blows out the building's front doors & enters]
- Richard Farley: [angry] Did you know the holidays are just around the corner and you haven't even sent me a Christmas card?
- Richard Farley: It's gonna be real hard for us to have a relationship if you keep refusing to go out with me.
- Laura Black: Rich, the only relationship that we're gonna have is a professional one in the office!
- Penny: [in a disciplinary hearing with Farley & a management official] I'm not sure you comprehend the seriousness of this matter.
- Richard Farley: I don't think it's right for you or anyone else to control my private relationships.
- Penny: Do you understand that sexual harassment is against the law? You could be fired!
- Richard Farley: I've worked here for over 9 years. If I lost my job I'd have nothing to live for.
- Penny: That's my point. We want you to stay.
- Richard Farley: I have guns. I'd kill myself. I wouldn't be the only one. Others would go.
- Penny: Rich, are you saying that if you are fired, you would kill me?
- Richard Farley: Yes. Not just you, I'd take others as well.
- [Long silence]
- Richard Farley: Excuse me.
- [Farley gets up & leaves. Penny is obviously frightened by Richard's threat; she is clearly shaking]
- [Chris and Laura are running tests when Chris glances up for a second and sees security guards escorting Farley down the hall]
- Chris: Laura...
- [Chris gestures towards Farley with his head. Laura looks up to see Farley being escorted off the property. As he walks past, Penny comes into the office]
- Penny: Richard Farley has been terminated by the company, effective today.
- Chris: When did this happen?
- Penny: Late last night.
- Penny: [addressing Laura] Laura, do you have a place to go for the weekend?
- Laura Black: What do you mean?
- Penny: Why don' you go away for a couple of days? You can leave right now, and charge the rest of the afternoon to the company.
- Richard Farley: ...Larry, you work up front. Those Mardex doors, are they bullet-proof glass?
- Lawrence Kane: No, they're not...
- Richard Farley: What about the doors between the offices, are they solid or hollow?
- Lawrence Kane: [assuming Farley is joking] ... Well, they're hollow, why?
- Mike Pratt: Rich, what are you talking about?
- Richard Farley: [Farley gets up to leave] ... I'll see you guys later.
- Lawrence Kane: [worried and nervous] Wait, what are you gonna do?... Er, I mean, now that you're free and everything...?
- Richard Farley: I dunno... I'll think of something.
- Laura Black: What is it? How far are you going to push this? What do you want? You want to kill me? You want to rape me?
- Richard Farley: You and I were meant for each other, Laura.
- Laura Black: Why me? Just tell me, why me?
- Richard Farley: All I know is, you and I were meant to be together, forever.
- [Farley has cornered Laura in the washroom at a bar]
- Richard Farley: I spent the whole day at Project Concern and I have no intention of *ever* going back there again. You and Penny and Chris, you have no idea of who you're messing with here.
- Laura Black: [to another woman] Go get the manager, now!
- Laura Black: I want you to get out of my way.
- Richard Farley: You think I'm a joke, don't you?
- Laura Black: No Rich, I don't think you're a joke...
- Richard Farley: [shouting] Don't talk down to me!
- [smashes a towel dispenser off the wall]
- Richard Farley: Don't you understand? Why do you want to find out how far I will go? Is it because you want to be right and win? Is it because you want totell everybody that you won?
- Laura Black: No, it's not about winning, I just want to be left alone.
- [Farley grabs Laura & gets in her face]
- Richard Farley: I just don't think that you should tell anybody about our little talk here, all right? They might get the wrong impression and then they would do something stupid, and then I could do something stupid, and the whole thing could spiral beyond any hope of recovery...
- Richard Farley: [to a woman who just came into the bathroom] *Get out of here!*
- Richard Farley: [to Laura] This could escalate, Laura. I might scare us both with what I'm capable of doing.
- [Farley leaves Laura crying in the bathroom]
- Richard Farley: I don't think you should wear such a sexy-looking top in public... might give people the wrong idea.
