‘AGT’s Richard Goodall Gets Emotional Reflecting on His Audition for Show’s 20th Birthday
Image
America’s Got Talent took a break from the Season 20 competition on Tuesday night (August 12) to celebrate a milestone moment, looking back at 20 seasons of incredible talent with a special “AGT 20th Birthday Party” episode. After a montage of memorable moments from the show’s history, Season 19 winner Richard Goodall kicked things off properly with a sensational performance of Survivor’s 1982 hit “Eye of the Tiger.” The beloved school janitor won the hearts of America last year with his powerful voice, amiable personality, and heartwarming backstory. In a clip shared on the AGT Instagram page, Goodall watched his original audition, where he wowed the audience, as well as judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum, with a jaw-dropping rendition of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.” “When I’m done singing, the crowd just screams,” Goodall recalled. “I never expected that reaction.” View this post on Instagram A...

Hulk Hogan’s most memorable movie roles, from ‘Rocky III’ to ‘Gremlins 2’
Image
Before Dwayne Johnson and John Cena found their way from the WWE ring to the big screen, Terry Bollea aka Hulk Hogan provided a case study in how wrestling stars could become movie stars. Hogan was a ubiquitous presence in movie theaters — and on TV screens — during the height of his fame in the 1980s and 1990s. He died at his home in Clearwater, Fl on July 24 at age 71.

In his later years, Hogan was better known as a reality TV star, headlining the two-season VH1 series Hogan Knows Best and appearing on its one-and-done follow-up, Brooke Knows Best. He also had cameos on comedy series ranging from The Inbetweeners to The Goldbergs.

But Hogan's movie roles remain the best examples of his outsized persona. Here's a recap of his most memorable film appearances.

Rocky III (1982)

Hogan first climbed into the movie ring with the third — and best — Rocky movie...

‘Gachiakuta’ Is Bringing Back My Favorite Type of Music That We Left Behind With Persona 3
Image
The anime adaptation of Gachiakuta only just began, but the first two episodes have established a solid foundation with the shocking twist and incredible world-building. It exceeded all of my expectations. However, I couldn’t help but keep thinking about the soundtrack.

Gachiakuta might be one of the most unique manga series in recent years, so the anime had to keep up with that vibe. Bones Film has put a lot of effort into its production, which is evident in the performances, visuals, but specifically, the soundtrack. It matched the action and the gritty environment Rudo lived in.

That wasn’t the only part that caught my attention, however. Taku Iwasaki is the composer for Gachiakuta, but the vocals reminded me of a certain singer for Bungo Stray Dogs and Persona 3.

Lotus Juice Might Be the Voice Behind Gachiakuta’s Ost

For those who aren’t familiar with the Persona video game franchise,...

10 Best Box Office Opening Weekend Matchups Like Barbenheimer, Ranked
Image
"Barbenheimer" stunned the moviegoing world in 2023 when two very different movies topped the domestic charts. "Barbie" led the weekend, earning $162 million, behind only "Beauty & The Beast" for a female-led, non-sequel. Meanwhile, "Oppenheimer" blew up the box office with $82 million, landing at number two with one of the biggest R-rated openings ever.

Not bad for a feminist satire of a plastic doll and a three-hour biopic about a nuclear physicist. No two movies could be more different ... and that was the point. Sure, both would have succeeded on their own, but each elevated the other, creating a pop culture phenomenon bigger than its individual parts. Even though "Barbenheimer" was the first to have a clever, trending name, it wasn't the first example of successful counter-programming. In fact, Hollywood has deployed this strategy for decades. Now we're counting down the biggest ones based on the box office.

But first, I'm only...

Sylvester Stallone Reflects on Making 'Glorious' Sequel Rocky III After 43 Years
Image
Sylvester Stallone recently took to social media to look back fondly and celebrate the 43rd anniversary of his film, Rocky III. The film premiered on May 28, 1982.

Stallone posted on Instagram, sharing a heartfelt message reflecting on filming Rocky III, saying: "I know its been said many times before as time flies by. But the time we did Rocky three was a glorious moment that I love sharing with all the loyal fans...Keep punching!" He also shared multiple images from the Rocky film, including one with Mr. T, who starred as James "Clubber" Lang in the film.

As the third installment in the franchise, Rocky III saw Stallone reprising his role as "the Italian Stallion" Rocky Balboa, the heavyweight champion of the world. In the film, he continues to defend his title against a myriad of other fighters, including Mr. T's Clubber. The movie also saw Rocky turning to his old adversary,...

Echoes of Rap’s Golden Age, and Voices of Its Future
Image
Producer Infinity Knives’ adventurous, electronic-driven tracks have been the perfect sound bed for Brian Ennals’ sharp social commentary and self-effacing sense of humor, going back to their joint 2020 project, Rhino Xxl. That mesh is displayed on the Maryland artist’s latest project, A City Drowned in God’s Black Tears. On album opener “The Iron Wall,” featuring FRANKI3, Ennals sets his terms, declaring “genocide’s as American as apple pie, baseball, and mass shootings.” The song, like the album, is an unabashed rebuke of Israel-U.S. relations and America’s overall warmongering.

Rocky: Sylvester Stallone Fought His Own Brother and Ate Some Really Nasty Looking Body Shots
Image
Everyone remembers Rocky III for two things: Mr. T threatening to destroy everything and Sylvester Stallone’s transformation into a sentient bicep. But deep in the cinematic shadows lies a lost gem, one that involves Stallone stepping into the ring, not with Clubber Lang, not with Apollo Creed, but with his very own brother, Frank Stallone. Yes. For real.

In a behind-the-scenes training montage that feels like both a deleted scene and a family feud therapy session, Stallone turned Rocky III into a sibling slugfest. The footage recently surfaced and is now circulating like a fever dream on social media, showing the Italian Stallion beating on poor Frank with the kind of energy normally reserved for bad Yelp reviewers.

15 Best Boxing Movies Of All Time, Ranked
Image
For whatever reason, boxing plays better on the big screen than in real life. Perhaps it is the cinematic spectacle of watching two people square off in a boxing ring surrounded by rabid fans, or maybe it's the rush of watching a hero exorcise their demons while battling a seemingly superior foe, or perhaps we're all just suckers for fantastic workout montages set to Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger." At any rate, movies about boxing tend to hit harder than other sports dramas, literally and figuratively, producing classic underdog stories that stand the test of time.

You don't have to enjoy boxing to get a kick out of "Rocky" or know the difference between an uppercut and a hook to stand and cheer for "The Fighter." Need proof? Check out this terrific list of the 15 best boxing movies of all time, ranked, and try to find one that doesn't get your juices flowing.

Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 Finally Delivers The Karate Kid Reference It's Been Missing
Image
The past 15 years or so have been dominated by legacy sequels, movies that bring back beloved franchises with stories that land somewhere between a reboot, a sequel, and a remake. Out of the bunch, "Cobra Kai" is one of the best ones. From the moment the first season premiered on the defunct YouTube Red platform, "Cobra Kai" has managed to excel at being not only a continuation of Johnny Lawrence's (William Zabka) story on top of a reboot following a new generation of kids but also a rather good pseudo-remake of the original "Karate Kid" movies.

After all, the story of Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña) heavily echoed that of Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) in the first film, but with a twist. Like Daniel, Miguel is a new kid in town who learns karate to defend himself from bullies and gain self-confidence, enters a tournament, and uses a crane kick to...

Jesse Watters Says Trump Needs More ‘Eye Candy’ in Cabinet Picks
Image
Jesse Watters is battling backlash after saying he wants to see some “eye candy” from president-elect Donald Trump‘s female cabinet picks. The Fox News host made the remark after The Five panel watched and discussed a video of Secretary of Health and Human Services nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr.‘s shirtless workout. In the video, Rfk Jr. is seen showing off his muscles as he does pull-ups and roll-over exercises to Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger” at Gold Gym’s in Venice, California. “Practicing moves for my confirmation hearing,” Rfk Jr. wrote alongside the video, which has amassed over 5 million views on X. “I just think it’s unfair that you had to get to see this and we don’t get to see any of the female members of the Cabinet,” Watters told his female co-hosts Dana Perino, Jessica Tarlov, and Jeanine Pirro, per The Daily Beast.

Real Reason Why Supernatural’s Creator Eric Kripke Left the Show After Season 5, Explained
Image
Nearly two decades have passed since Supernatural first premiered, captivating audiences with its unique blend of horror, fantasy, and heartfelt storytelling. Over the years, the series has gone on from a regular fictional show about two guys from Kansas hunting ghosts, demons, ghouls, and everything in between, above and beyond to a TV show based on something more profound— themes of family, friendship, perseverance, love, and responsibility. CW's Supernatural avidly believes in giving the audience exactly what they want. Fans witnessed everything from Dean running from a dog, the Winchesters having a crossover event with Scooby-Doo, and Dean performing "Eye of the Tiger." However, if there's one fan-favorite trend that the show has diligently stuck to is bringing back characters from the dead. It just so happens that every main Supernatural character has a destiny to fulfill, and until they do so, they can't really bite the dust.

Jensen Ackles Won’t Ever Let Go of His Unforgettable Supernatural Moment With the 4th Main Character of the Show
Image
Supernatural is a series that possesses a lot of personality. Although, at first glance, it is a horror show about the paranormal, over the years, it almost turned into a painful, traumatizing sitcom. At the very center of the series are its lively, depressed protagonists.

Although the story started with Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester, Misha Collins’ Castiel was also added into one of the main characters of the series. However, hardcore fans know that there is an unofficial fourth protagonist in the series that does not get the recognition it deserves: Baby.

During an interview, Jensen Ackles talked about a special moment he had with the 1967 Chevy Impala that affected him greatly.

Baby Did Not Need a Special Crew in Supernatural

Rocky Balboa: the movie that put Sly back on top
Image
The early 2000s were a bad time for Sylvester Stallone professionally. In the mid-nineties, after a short-lived resurgence of three hit movies, Cliffhanger, Demolition Man and The Specialist, Stallone’s career as a bankable action star began to sputter, with Judge Dredd, Assassins and Daylight all losing money. Copland, an indie drama directed by James Mangold, made money and earned Stallone his best reviews since the original Rocky, but his follow-up movies were disastrous. His attempt at a slasher/ horror movie, D-Tox, sat on the shelf for years, finally being released under the lame title Eye See You. His 2000 remake of Get Carter was another disaster, with critics eviscerating him for remaking the Michael Caine classic, with even a cameo from Caine himself not easing their fury. In 2001, he teamed with Cliffhanger’s Renny Harlin on a go-for-broke would-be blockbuster called Driven.

Sporting a huge budget, for the time, a...

‘AGT’ Winner Richard Goodall Opens Up About Future Plans, Biopic & More
Image
Richard Goodall is on top of the world after winning Season 19 of America’s Got Talent on Tuesday night (September 24), and now the question is, what’s next? Speaking to The U.S. Sun following his victory, the singing middle school janitor was asked if he’d be interested in a film about his life, similar to the productions made about Britain’s Got Talent winner Susan Boyle. The interviewer even suggested Zac Efron could play a younger Goodall. “That would be cool,” Goodall said of the Efron suggestion before joking, “He’d probably have to put on a little weight, though.” Joking aside, Goodall seemed up for the idea of a biopic, saying, “It sounds like fun. I’m willing to take on anything that comes our way.” Goodall won the hearts of America on this season of AGT with his soulful renditions of “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,...

‘America’s Got Talent’: Richard Goodall Speaks Out After Stunning Season 19 Triumph
Image
Both judges and viewers of America’s Got Talent warmly embraced singer Richard Goodall from the moment he first stepped onto the AGT stage and earned a Golden Buzzer from Heidi Klum. Even before host Terry Crews announced Goodall as AGT Season 19’s winner, the former “singing janitor” was already a champion. Not only was he the sentimental favorite throughout the season, but Goodall wed girlfriend Angie Vanoven the week leading up to the finale taping. When it came to performing in tonight’s finale with rock band Journey, Goodall tells TV Insider, “There’s [stuff on your] bucket list and then, there’s ‘top shelf bucket lists.’ You can’t even remotely think that something like this was ever going to happen.” Throughout the course of the season, Goodall, who performed soulful renditions of “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” “Eye of the Tiger,” and “Faithfully,” never lost his humility or sense of gratitude.

Howie Mandel predicts singing janitor Richard Goodall will win ‘America’s Got Talent’: ‘You just sang yourself one million dollars’ [Watch]
Image
Singing janitor Richard Goodall is officially Howie Mandel‘s pick to win “America’s Got Talent.”

The Canadian judge made that prediction following Richard’s performance in the September 17 episode of “AGT.” The middle school custodian belted out “Faithfully” on the big stage at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and earned a wild standing ovation from the judges and the live studio audience. “I think you just sang yourself one million dollars,” Howie declared as Richard broke down in tears. Watch the video above.

As for the other judges, Heidi Klum told Richard, “I have been faithfully your biggest fan since the very, very first day we met, all the way through this competition … I hope that everyone is gonna vote for you. I want you to win this so bad!” And Simon Cowell noted, “From the minute you came on this show, you’ve never crumbled. You’ve risen. We all need a hero right now,...

‘America’s Got Talent’: Who’s In the Grand Final – And Who Got Eliminated?
Image
The final round of semifinals took place on Thursday night’s (September 12) America’s Got Talent as the remaining 12 acts awaited the results of the viewers’ votes to see if they’d advanced to next week’s grand final. Only six spots were available, as four acts had previously advanced after receiving the live show Golden Buzzers. Those acts are Spanish aerial duo Sebastián & Sonia, the Hakuna Matata Acrobats, singer Dee Dee Simon, and dance group Airfootworks. That left a dozen other acts at the mercy of the fan vote, including middle school janitor Richard Goodall, who wowed the judges back at the auditions with an incredible performance of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Goodall impressed again on Wednesday (September 11) with an emotional performance of Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger.” It proved to be an especially dramatic and tense night for fans of Goodall. Deep Blue Sea and the Lost Art of Wonderfully Bad Rap-Up Songs During the End Credits
Image
The 25th anniversary of Deep Blue Sea is generally not seen as a significant cultural event. In the grand context of a world spinning wildly off its axis, finding time to remember that movie where scientists use shark brains to cure Alzheimer’s can be difficult.

Yet Deep Blue Sea deserves to be remembered. Not for the events of the film itself—though it is, remarkably, still one of the best shark movies ever made—but rather for the incredible original rap song that plays over its end credits, “Deepest Bluest (Shark’s Fin).” In that rousing ballad, rapper and Deep Blue Sea co-star LL Cool J delivers what could best be described as a shark’s diss track to the rest of the world sung from the shark’s perspective. Best remembered for the lyric, “Deepest, bluest, my hat is like a shark’s fin,” it occasionally makes the...

Will Ferrell’s Son Recalls Hilarious Time His Dad Appeared At His Prom Dressed As A Medieval Lord
Image
Will Ferrell has a well-earned reputation as the ultimate embarrassing dad and has once again proved his prowess in that department. This time, his son Magnus Ferrell has shared the delightfully mortifying tale of his father’s antics at his high school prom.

In a TikTok slideshow posted by Magnus, the 20-year-old “rated things” his famous father has done over the years. It wasn’t until the second slide that Magnus revealed his dad’s identity – the one and only Step Brothers star.

The hilarious image showed Magnus, dressed in a sharp gray suit, standing next to Will, decked out in full medieval lord attire – complete with a squire’s cap and a frilly ruff around his neck. “Dressed as a medieval lord to embarrass me at prom,” Magnus wrote, adding a “10000/10” rating. He captioned the post “true story.”

Unsurprisingly, the post’s comments section was flooded with surprised viewers...

Cobra Kai's Perfect Daniel & Johnny Ending Was Revealed In Season 1 With Reference To 1980s Movie (Not The Karate Kid)
Image
Cobra Kai teased a Rocky III-style fight in season 1, hinting at a perfect ending for Daniel and Johnny. Cobra Kai should end with a friendly match between Daniel and Johnny inspired by Rocky III. Daniel and Johnny respect each other now, so ending on a high-stakes fight with a clear winner is unnecessary.

The perfect way to end Daniel and Johnny’s Cobra Kai stories was teased back in season 1 thanks to a Rocky III reference. Cobra Kai season 6 will be the show’s final, meaning it might be the conclusion to the story that began in 1984’s The Karate Kid. While Ralph Macchio will reprise his role as Daniel Larusso in the new Karate Kid movie, it is unclear whether the new project will tie directly into Cobra Kai. Therefore, season 6 must deliver a satisfying ending to Daniel and Johnny’s journeys as rivals and friends.

“I don’t give a f**k what it is”: Sylvester Stallone Originally Thought Eye of the Tiger “Doesn’t have balls” to be a Rocky 3 Song
Image
Apart from starring a Hollywood legend like Sylvester Stallone and featuring some of the finest action-packed, adrenaline-inducing fight scenes, the Rocky franchise is also known for having some of the most incredible musical scores. Yet it is the official soundtrack of the third movie. Rocky III’s Eye of the Tiger that towers over all the other songs.

A still from Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger music video

A Grammy-winning, Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA-nominated single, Eye of the Tiger has had an amazing run on countless music charts as well. Not only did it dominate the music scene back in the day but it also made the band Survivor a legend. However, Frankie Sullivan and Jim Peterik would have never gotten the golden opportunity for Stallone initially though the song did not have balls!

Rocky's Original Song Choice Would Have Ruined His Iconic "Eye Of The Tiger" Scene
Image
"Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen was the original choice for Rocky III's theme song, but it didn't fit the tone of the franchise. "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor, the eventual choice, perfectly captures the motivational spirit of the movie. Queen's song couldn't be used due to failed negotiations, but this turned out to be a blessing as "Eye of the Tiger" became an iconic anthem for Rocky III.

Rocky III is best known for its use of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger," but the filmmaker's original song choice would have totally ruined the movie. The sequel sees Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) face off against one of the most iconic opponents of the franchise, Clubber Lang (Mr. T). Rocky is at the pinnacle of his career as a heavyweight champion in the movie, but the threatening and merciless Lang has Rocky seeking the help of his former adversary,...

10 Best Songs In 1980s Action Movies

In 80s action movies, popular songs were played during big scenes, creating iconic moments and adding tension and excitement to the story. Songs like "Eye of the Tiger" in Rocky III and "Danger Zone" in Top Gun became anthems of the movies, setting the tone and becoming enduring hits. Some songs, like "Fight the Power" in Do the Right Thing, were specifically created for the film and added to the powerful and intense scenes, enhancing the overall impact of the movie.

One of the staples of great 80s action movies was often a popular song that would play during a big scene or a montage. The 80s saw a big shift in the action genre, with many of the most popular action films of all time being released in that decade. The soundtrack for Hulu’s Quiz Lady features an eclectic mix of songs from different eras, reflecting not just the primary setting of the movie but its backstory as well. Quiz Lady is a wholesome comedy that starts out with a brief intro that takes place in 1996 before moving forward to the present day. Awkwafina stars as Anne, a mild-mannered woman obsessed with game shows, while Sandra Oh plays her reckless sister, Jenny. While they are polar opposites, Anne and Jenny come together for a memorable road trip and game show appearance to pay off their mothers’ gambling debts.

Nick Urata, who previously scored another memorable road comedy, Little Miss Sunshine, composed the original music for Quiz Lady while the soundtrack includes popular numbers by mainstream talents such as Harry Styles and Smash Mouth. American Idol contestant Remi Wolf is also featured on the soundtrack with two songs in the movie.

Image
Image Source: Getty / Michael Hickey

It's Will Ferrell's party, and we're all invited. On Oct. 7, the actor made a surprise appearance as guest DJ at a Sigma Alpha Mu frat party at the University of Southern California, his alma mater. Getting the party started ahead of the football team's game against the University of Arizona, Ferrell hopped behind the turntables and blasted a medley of hits, including "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor and "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers. Ferrell also played "N- in Paris" by Jay-Z and Kanye West, which features a clip of his "Blades of Glory" character Chazz saying, "No one knows what it means, but it's provocative."

At one point, Ferrell even took his hands off the turntables to operate a fog cannon as he bobbed his head along to the music. Around him, college students danced, sang along, and, of course, recorded the unforgettable moment on their phones.

1 Karate Kid Song Was Originally Written For Rocky 3 (& Replaced By The Franchise's Biggest Hit)
Image
"You're The Best" by Joe Esposito was originally written for Rocky III but ended up being the perfect fit for The Karate Kid. "Eye Of The Tiger" by Scorpions was chosen for Rocky III instead of "You're The Best" and became a huge hit associated with the franchise. The song "Glory of Love" by Peter Cetera, originally rejected for Rocky IV, became a hit for The Karate Kid 2 instead.

One song from The Karate Kid was originally written for Rocky III, but it was replaced by the boxing franchise's biggest hit. Rocky III debuted in 1982 and saw a slightly more weary Italian Stallion (Sylvester Stallone) begrudgingly get in the ring with the younger, more antagonistic Clubber Yang (Mr. T) at the same time that his friend and mentor Mickey suffers a fatal heart attack. The Karate Kid, which would be released in 1984 and introduced the world to Ralph Macchio...

Barbie: Greta Gerwig deconstructs the Rocky sequels while sharing her legit love for Sylvester Stallone
Image
Barbie fever is sweeping the nation, and pink is steadily becoming the dominant color of 2023. After making over $100 million at the box office during its opening weekend, the film’s director, Greta Gerwig, is taking a victory lap, her excited steps likely fueled by the sound of Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger.” Why this song in particular? Gerwig is a Rocky fan, and as it turns out, Sylvester Stallone’s Italian Stallion played a role in how Ryan Gosling’s approach to playing Ken came to be.

Speaking with Uproxx about the monumental success of Barbie, being only the second woman to direct a movie that earned $100M+ at the box office during an opening weekend, and how Stallone represents her idea of a “real man,” Gerwig gushes about finding inspiration in an unexpected resource with the Rocky movies.

While waxing rhapsodic about notes she’d received from Mattel...

10 Actors Who Almost Played Princess Leia In Star Wars
Image
Carrie Fisher's performance as Princess Leia Organa made her a Star Wars icon, however, 10 other actors who auditioned nearly played the character instead. Many of these actors would find success in other movie and TV franchises despite not playing Leia, and even so, it's fascinating to consider how Star Wars may have changed forever if someone else had embodied the character. It's hard to imagine Leia without Carrie Fisher, especially after she defined the character for 40 years before her passing. Still, just like the popularity of what-if scenarios in Star Wars fiction, alternatives to the franchise's real-life history are just as fun to explore.

As a central character of the Skywalker saga, having Leia played by another actor may very well have changed the franchise's direction. The chemistry between characters can shape where the writers will take the story, and with the wide variety of talent that auditioned for Leia,...

‘The Masked Singer’ spoilers: Who is California Roll
Image
It took till season 9 of “The Masked Singer” but we’ve finally got a costume that features five performers: the California Roll. They took to the stage on March 1 to deliver a soaring cover of the hit “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga. After Polar Bear lost the audience vote and was revealed to be rapper Grandmaster Flash, California Roll was pitted in a Battle Royale with Medusa.

Each put their own spin on the classic tune “Uptown Girl” by Billie Joel. Medusa delivered a traditional take on the tune while California Roll turned it into a haunting ballad. After Medusa won the vote, we thought this was the last we’d see of California Roll but Nicole Scherzinger sounded the Ding Dong bell and saved them.

We’ve been rewatching both of these performances and have all your “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the answer to the question, “Who is California...

BBC criticised for David Walliams’ Comic Relief joke after Britain’s Got Talent scandal: ‘Read the room’

David Walliams was among those vying for Britain’s spot at the next Eurovision Song Contest in a comedy sketch for the BBC’s Comic Relief broadcast.

After performing “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor in a tight leather suit, judges Graham Norton, Lulu and Sam Ryder declared that Walliams had failed to secure the gig.

Upon hearing their verdict, the comedy actor approached the judge’s table and placed a gold, Britain’s Got Talent buzzer on it.

“Well, you might not have liked it but I loved it,” Walliams said, hitting the buzzer, prompting a stream of confetti to fall around him. “Yes! I’m through to the live Eurovision final!” he declared.
