Hulk Hogan may have been a controversial figure in the industry, but his death sent shockwaves around the world nonetheless. At the time of his death, Hogan possessed a net worth of $25 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth. Now, it looks like his fortune may cause some trouble in the family, especially if Brooke Hogan contests the will and things end up in probate court.
Firstly, let’s take a look at what his wife is entitled to, as per Florida laws.
We know that Hogan tied the knot with Sky Daily in 2023, after his 2021 divorce from Jennifer McDaniel. Now, according to Florida’s spousal elective share law, surviving spouses have the right to an elective share of the deceased’s estate.
As per The Sun‘s report, this could mean that Daily could inherit about a third of Hogan’s $25 million estate. Regardless of what his will or trust may say,...

Pro-wrestler and 1980s bastion of masculinity Terry "Hulk" Hogan passed away on July 24, 2025. He was 71. He was best-known early in his career for his sweaty antics in the WWF (later WWE) ring, and later became better known for some of his controversial actions and opinions outside of it. Also controversial was his filmography. Hogan, like many pro-wrestlers, attempted multiple times to become a movie star, although it was with only dubious success. He effectively played versions of himself in the bonkers sports dramas "Rocky III" (1982) and "No Holds Barred" (1989), but more frequently appeared in whimsical, kid-friendly movies like "Suburban Commando" (1991), "Mr. Nanny" (1993), and "Santa With Muscles" (1996).
Few of these films were hits -- indeed, most of Hogan's kids movies were widely derided bombs -- but that didn't stop the Hulkster from trying. As recently as 2009, Hogan made another kids movie -- his final live-action film appearance -- in the form...

Before The Rock morphed into movie star Dwayne Johnson, and well-before John Cena traded his jorts for a Peacemaker helmet, Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea made the leap from a professional-wrestling ring to Hollywood.
Hogan was the man who put WWE (then WWF) on the map — quite literally, in most places. Vince McMahon Jr. dreamt of taking his dad’s Wwwf (the extra “W” was for the “Wide” in what had been the World Wide Wrestling Federation) from a regional league to a national one (the “World Wide” was just a marketing gimmick). But to steamroll his competitors in their own territories, McMahon needed two things: TV syndication, and one huge draw. Fortunately, he had a huge dude, Bollea, who stood 6’7” and famously had 24” biceps (really they were 22”), on his roster. Together, they created Hulk (because he was big like The Incredible Hulk) Hogan (to resonate with the northeast’s — the...

While the recently departed Hulk Hogan may have had a checkered cinematic career (see No Holds Barred or Suburban Commando...or don't), one of his movies has become a beloved cult classic. Starting next month, you'll be able to watch it on its new streaming home. Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Joe Dante's satirical 1990 sequel to his hit creature feature, is coming to HBO Max starting on August 1.
In the film, which is as much a spoof of the original Gremlinsas it is a sequel to it, Hogan turns up in a clever breaking of the fourth wall. In the film, the titular creatures are rampaging through a corporate high-rise that includes a movie theater...which then causes the actual movie to stop. Back in 2011, former WWE superstar Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne joined forces for Gnomeo & Juliet, distributed by Disney’s now-defunct Touchstone label, which currently stands on a 55% rating on the Tomatometer. Hogan, who reportedly passed away at the age of 71 (via TMZ), just days after the recent passing of Osbourne, who died on 22 July, appeared in a brief cameo alongside a star-studded cast.
Although it remains largely obscure in the realm of animation, which is reasonable given it wasn’t a mainline entry from Disney’s own-house studio, to this date, this remains Hogan’s last major Hollywood gig.

Before Dwayne Johnson and John Cena found their way from the WWE ring to the big screen, Terry Bollea aka Hulk Hogan provided a case study in how wrestling stars could become movie stars. Hogan was a ubiquitous presence in movie theaters — and on TV screens — during the height of his fame in the 1980s and 1990s. He died at his home in Clearwater, Fl on July 24 at age 71.
In his later years, Hogan was better known as a reality TV star, headlining the two-season VH1 series Hogan Knows Best and appearing on its one-and-done follow-up, Brooke Knows Best. He also had cameos on comedy series ranging from The Inbetweeners to The Goldbergs.
But Hogan's movie roles remain the best examples of his outsized persona. Here's a recap of his most memorable film appearances.

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan -- one of the most popular professional wrestlers of all time by a country mile -- has passed away at the age of 71. Hogan's contributions to sports entertainment were legendary, having been WWE's most popular babyface during its 1980s golden age before helping the company's main competitor, WCW, become a force in the '90s. That said, Hogan might never have joined WCW if his Hollywood career had taken off the way he'd planned, but it was hampered by his tendency to star in some truly bizarre projects.
After some memorable roles in "Rocky III" and "The A-Team," Hogan decided to embark on a career as a leading man. However, his success as a wrestler failed to translate to the box office, with the grappler starring in a string of flops, some of which have become infamous in "so-bad-it's--good" circles. Amidst the popular stipulations which has been a stern test for the WWE superstars include the likes of Hell in a Cell, Last Man Standing, I Quit, No Holds Barred, Survivor Series Elimination match, Steel Cage match, Barbed Wire Steel Cage match and the list simply goes on and on. However, adding drama and spice to the list, there are fascinating stipulations including the likes of boneyard matches, lumberjack matches and whatnot.

The Undertaker is regarded as one of the greatest WWE legends of all time. The Phenom was defined by his mystic aura, captivating presence, and exceptional in-ring acumen that made him a marquee attraction for the company for over three decades.
Another thing that highly resonated with the character of The Undertaker was his iconic WrestleMania streak. It stood for over two decades before its demise at the hands of Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. The Streak became a highlight for many years at The Show of Shows, with top performers like Shawn Michaels, Batista, Ric Flair, and Edge attempting to end it.

Amidst those years, WWE Cco Paul “Triple H” was also among those names who challenged The Streak. However, it was the ending of one particular match between Triple H and The Undertaker that absolutely infuriated then-wwe Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

An argument can be made for The Rock being the funniest wrestler to ever come out of WWE, whether he's trying to be or not. His recent return at Bad Blood is an example of how The Final Boss can be unintentionally hilarious. Popping up at the end of the Ple with cryptic sign language and then cutting a wacky promo backstage on Instagram Live is absolute comedic gold.
The Rock has a lot of moments like that, especially in his prime and especially when he actually tries to be funny. He's naturally funny without trying to be due to his charm, but when he starts cracking jokes at the expense of other superstars, no one is safe. Whether it be his antics during his matches or his promos themselves, The Rock never ceases to make audiences bust a gut whenever possible.

As is made clear in Netflixs Mr. McMahon documentary television miniseries, the presently retired Vince McMahon was the ultimate risk-taker. However, besides professional wrestling, McMahon has failed with virtually every other business hes invested in, including a bodybuilding league, a minor-league hockey team, a social media platform, a WWE-themed restaurant, and, most famously, the XFL.
In 1989, McMahon made his first foray into feature film-making with the 1989 action film No Holds Barred, which marked the feature starring debut of 1980s wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, whose larger-than-life persona and unparalleled charisma embodied McMahons invention of sports entertainment and enabled him to realize his vision for global dominance through the power of Hulkamania.

It may have been more than forty years since they fought each other in the ring in Rocky III, but Sylvester Stallone and Hulk Hogan have plenty of vivid memories, and lots of praise for each other. In a new Instagram post, Stallone shared a video of an interview with Hogan, recalling his experiences playing the wrestler Thunderlips for his fight scene in Rocky III. In the video, the WWE Hall of Famer voices his amazement that Stallone was able to hold his own physically in the ring, despite an obvious weight and height advantage Hogan had on him.
"He was like a buck-sixty (160) pounds, and I was like 320 pounds," Hogan says in the video. "He did everything, he did all his own stunts." The 71-year-old, who was 6' 7" at the time, admits he almost broke Stallone's collarbone with a kick, but admitted his toughness kept him in one piece,...

Hulk Hogan's reality TV career initially thrived, but it quickly spiraled due to personal struggles and legal issues. Hogan's affair with his daughter's best friend contributed to the downfall of his marriage, not reality TV. Following his struggles, Laila Ali's unexpected phone call helped Hogan rethink his life choices and saved him from despair.
Despite the ups and downs, Hulk Hogan maintains a solid net worth today, in large part, thanks to a lawsuit against Gawker. In truth, following his divorce from Linda Hogan, it seemed like Hulk's financial situation was hitting a downward spiral. That matched with the end of his journey on reality TV.
His VH1 journey actually got off to a promising start. Hogan Knows Best had solid ratings, and was ahead of its time. However, after just two seasons, the show was off the air and the damage was so bad there was no turning back.

Those who don’t follow professional wrestling may not appreciate just how tough and grueling it is. It isn’t enough to be on the road 200+ days a year, getting dropped on your head or your back every night, dealing with injuries, losing your spot on the roster, and worse. If you’ve seen films like The Iron Claw, The Wrestler, or the old Beyond the Mat documentary, you know that professional wrestling is grind like no other.
But the other aspect that goes underappreciated is how much wrestling relies on acting. If you have any hope of making it big, it isn’t enough to be able to do a tope suicida or Texas Cloverleaf on the way to a 5-star mat classic. You have to be able to act your role, day in and day out. Often, you have to act live, in front of an audience of thousands,...

Hulk Hogan's popularity in the 1980s elevated professional wrestling to a global phenomenon through Hulkamania. The attempt to make Hulk Hogan a major film star failed miserably with poorly received films like No Holds Barred and Suburban Commando. Hogan's film career failure stands in contrast to the successful film careers of wrestlers like John Cena and Dwayne Johnson, who learned from Hogan's mistakes and exercised better creative control.
No other professional wrestling star in history has attained the level of popularity that Hulk Hogan had in the 1980s, when the bleach-blond-haired Hogan’s larger-than-life persona, rippling muscles, and unparalleled charisma catapulted wrestling from the status of regional theater to a global phenomenon through the power of Hulkamania.

In what’s being billed as the Saudi leader’s “first interview with a major American news network since 2019,” Fox News announced that Bret Baier will sit down with Mohammed bin Salman for a “no holds barred” conversation.
The pre-taped encounter with the controversial crown prince will cover a range of topics, including the future of the kingdom and its relations with the United States.
The latter is of special interest, given that the Saudis and the Russians agreed this year to an oil price cut that has sent futures prices for Brent crude and West Texas Intermediate, the benchmarks for crude oil, up 13% and 14%, respectively, and diesel prices up 40% since May.
More recently, Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Ct) this week demanded communications and records from PGA Tour and Liv Golf regarding their planned merger. Liv Golf is financed by the Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which, Blumenthal says,...

While the names Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan have been suplexed by controversy lately, it’s impossible to ignore how popular they had made the WWE, then WWF, back in the ’80s and ’90s. Enter No Holds Barred, Hulk Hogan’s first starring movie role and the first movie/wrestling crossover event ever! Oh, and did I mention it featured Friday favorite Tom “Tiny” Lister as the mega heel? The professional wrestling industry has always provided a gateway to make the jump into Hollywood for those talented or brave enough to try, with current WWE star Sasha Banks recently becoming a firm fan favorite after showing up in season 2 of The Mandalorian as Koska Reeves. However, not everyone gets to come anywhere close to the levels of success attained by a certain Dwayne Johnson.
For instance, Dave Bautista is an established figure in the industry with a solid filmography under his belt already, but Hulk Hogan was a much bigger name in the squared circle and it would be fair to say No Holds Barred, Suburban Commando and Mr. Nanny didn’t turn him into a movie star.
John Cena, meanwhile, is set to continue his steady rise up the ranks with a banner 2021 that will see him follow in Johnson’s footsteps by joining the Fast and Furious franchise,...

Tommy "Tiny" Lister has passed away. He was 62-years old. Lister is probably best-known for his role as Deebo in the Friday franchise, starring alongside Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. His manager, Cindy Cowan, confirmed the news of his death this evening. Davey is the initial aggressor as he downs Gotch to the canvas, but Simon forces him out of the ropeless ring. Davey leaps right back up and lock up again. The feeling out process continues until Davey rolls Gotch down.
