Funny movie, very 70s, perhaps one of the best movies of Carlo Verdone , Italians really like. Carlo Verdone's films always have a dramatic side, a must for devotees of Verdone, he also plays several parts, is identified in more personality. It 'a movie that I've always enjoyed, Verdone also at that time tended to play multiple characters. And certainly most of the players followed uo landscape of Italian comic, a large following and likes to many. Even her other films are pretty funny. Many films Verdone in Italy are cult movie because of his jokes, I myself saw his films dozens of times without ever getting tired. Even her other films are pretty funny, they are excellent pastime. See it all at home, does not disappoint.
A road trip to get home in time for Election Day is the perfect opportunity to show us a bit of the good and the bad of Italy and Italians.
The movie is funny enough, except for some boring parts, but it's very outdated. The Italy we see in this movie doesn't work exist anymore (and I'm still not sure if it's good or bad).

This movie, even if is one of Verdone's firsts, is a milestone in his filmography. It follows by a year Un Sacco bello (1980). Both the movies are just a kind of "collage" of all Verdone characters played during his TV shows in the '70s. Nevertheless clearly we are in front of his first steps as film director, Carlo demonstrated already his big talent to underline trough his comedies the Italians and their defects. For anyone interested in Verdone cinema this is a must. For everyone happy to see a fine comedy about Italians this is a must. To have funny time in the Verdone's way this is a must. Twenty-four year later this "Bianco, rosso e Verdone" is still actual and unequaled. A must see.
My vote is 8 (out of 10).

- TriviaActor/director Carlo Verdone recalled in an interview that his mentor/producer Sergio Leone hated the character of Furio, whose scene were ultimately saved because Alberto Sordi and Monica Vitti, invited to an early private screening of the movie, found him amusing.
