Christine Lauti would later play the wife of Judd Hirsch in perhaps her most famous role in Running on Empty, and here she plays opposite Hirsch's Taxi co-star Tony Danza.

The Stray Cats music is heard blaring inside the nightclub with a sign that reads The Kincaids, Live, which means we're to assume the song "Rock This Town" is being performed by this fake band, The Kincaids. In that, The Stray Cats are an unseen "character" in the movie (despite the fact the single is recorded in studio... and yet like all of their music, it has a live sound).
Filmed in and around Salt Lake City, Utah. Features several cast members of Halloween 4, 5, and 6, which were also filmed in SLC. Jeff Olson, Richard Jewkes, and Michael Ruud from H4; Max Robinson of H5; and Leo Geter from H6. Leo was also in the original Silent Night Deadly Night and Footloose, both 1984 movies filmed there as well.
