Now that Thor has outlasted other heroes like Iron Man and Captain America in the MCU, fans want to know what comes next in Thor 5. Chris Hemsworth's Thor was introduced back in 2011's Thor, and with 2022's Thor: Love and Thunder he became the first MCU hero to take the lead in four solo movies. However, it seems as though the God of Thunder's time in the MCU might be drawing to a close. While it's not part of the McU's current Phase 5 or 6 slate, any news on Thor 5 might shed light on how the Odinson will finally end his story after serving as one of the original Avengers.

Though Chris Hemsworth seemed enthusiastic about continuing on as Thor, his attitude seems to have changed dramatically. In recent interviews, Hemsworth has expressed (via Vanity Fair) that he would like Thor's next appearance in the MCU to be his last.
