After Thriller Vibenius made this really hard to find film. Until today it is still unavailable on VHS or DVD. Strange after the success of Thriller. But this is more explicit than Thriller. It's no revenge movie but a movie about a depraved man. He really has a sick mind, I guess...Whenever he see a girl he only wants to make love to them but in satisfaction of his own. So it all is filmed in the explicit way cum included. But still it wasn't categorized as porn. The way he edited the movie and used the score, much delay, reminded of Thriller. But this really is sicker, especially when he goes to a park with a young girl. Guess what's on his mind. As you see on reviews I won't spoil the ending. Try to catch yourself a copy, and be sure it's in English.

Another masterpiece from the alltime favourite director Bo Arne Vibenius! We all know his skills from "Thriller- a cruel picture" and he´s not letting us down with this one either! The film might be about a frustrated (or very liberal, or simply stark raving mad)office clerk, who has sex (or think he has ) with all the women he encounters. He also get to be triggerhappy and wreak havoc a bit, whilst foundling bussoms and playing with his toytrain. The soundtrack is fantastic, and will leave you humming the main theme for weeks(If I´m not mistaken, it´s the main theme from "The third man"...)! Wanna get confused? Pick up a copy and blaze away... It´s Brilliant!!
Described as a 'pornographic thriller' and made the year after the same director's Thriller- A Cruel Picture, this mad concoction makes less sense but is somehow more likable. An odd word to use, I guess, as this includes scenes of rape, murder, necrophilia, the picking up of a young girl, arson and firing atomic bullets! Never did work out what the guns were all about but the director certainly likes them, almost as much as setting things ablaze and hardcore sex, all with a sense of humour. There doesn't seem to be much logic to the tale as the main protagonist moves from rapist to opportunist and then to contemplating paedophilia before loading up his other shooter for the finale. But if the rather erotic scenes and almost surreal touches make up for the odd lapses, whose complaining?
Director Bo Arne Vibenius shot to fame by directing the rape/revenge classic Thriller - en grym film/They Call Her One Eye (1974)and decided to make an even more controversial film.
This dystopian, surreal, nightmarish film about a serial killer/rapist looks like nothing else in Swedish cinema and have few counterparts, even by international standards.
There are some graphic violence but I think the hardcore pornographic scenes in this film that makes it an early precursor to controversial filmmakers like Lars Von Trier, Catherine Breillat etc.
In many ways Vibenius was way ahead of his time by splicing in hardcore porn into his films. Something that is not common, but has been used (mainly within art-house cinema)by several other directors for various reasons.
The story itself reminds me of, say, Maniac (1980), American Psycho (2000), C'est arrivé près de chez vous/Man Bites Dog (1992), Hi, Mom! (1970)etc.
Granted it is not as good as the above mentioned films, mainly because Vibenius doesn't seem to know what kind of story he wants to tell neither does he seem to have real script.
But you get the feeling that film is supposed to have dreamlike, surreal feeling, how much of the film is "real" and how much is just fantasies by the main character?
However, I urge everyone to see this one, and it should be released on DVD, because it is a curious item among Swedish exploitation cinema(or Swedish film history in general)due to it's content and style.

This movie sucks big time. The story is awful as same as the acting. Its incredibly stupid and totally unrealistic. Not likely that swedish government would send a message to the swedish people which says "Go out and get yourself a gun".
Some hardcore sex and silly violence.Fun to have seen since its very hard to find but I will probably never watch it again.
