- [Maid Marian slaps the Sheriff of Nottingham]

- Maid Marian: Oh, I'm sorry, sir. I didn't know you were the sheriff.
- Sheriff of Nottingham: Well, now you do.
- [Maid Marian slaps the Sheriff of Nottingham a second time]
- Maid Marian: So here's another for good measure.
- Little John: I daren't go back to the castle after this.
- Robin Hood: Then don't. Join us.
- Little John: You need somebody to look after you.
- Stephen: You killed my father.
- Roger de Courtenay: He was poaching, dear. The penalty for that is death.
- Stephen: We were hungry.
- Roger de Courtenay: The deer is a protected animal, boy.
- Stephen: Are we not as good as animals then?
- Roger de Courtenay: Indeed. And as the animals, you may feed as freely as you please... on grass.

- Wallace: Well aimed, Sir Roger. A perfect shot my lord.
- Roger de Courtenay: Boy, bring me my arrow.
- Wallace: Come on. Now you heard what my master said. The arrow.
- Wallace: It is one less Saxon to thieve and trouble us.
- Robin de Courtenay: And another left to grow and hate us more.
- Stephen: He saved my life!
- Much: Is this true?
- Stephen: It's true. I swear it.
- Alan-a-Dale: What does it matter? He's a Norman.
- Much: It matters that we do not kill for the sake of killing.
- Robin de Courtenay: I care not so much about the will, but you have marred a good man's dying moments here.
- Henry de Courtenay: And for nothing too. All of these hear have heard the will as he intended they should. Bad luck, dear brother.
- Roger de Courtenay: That we'll see.
- Robin de Courtenay: We meet again.
- Alan-a-Dale: Thanks to the boy. I would have had them take you.
- Stephen: That's not true, Alan. You know it's not.
- Alan-a-Dale: I couldn't let the friar die.
- Friar Tuck: I very proper sentiment, my good fellow.
- Alan-a-Dale: Come with me. I tell you now, I do this for the sake of young Stephen and the friar.
- Henry de Courtenay: For myself, I bear you no grudge.
- Robin de Courtenay: Thank you, Henry. We've never been friends, nor have we been enemies, so... let it remain so.
- Sheriff of Nottingham: Oh, by the way, I've doubled the guard with my men.
- Roger de Courtenay: With your men, why?

- Little John: Well, we thought that you...
- Will Scarlet: We didn't think you...
- Robin Hood: You thought I'd given up this life? With Richard a prisoner still, England in John's hands, and our friend the Sheriff of Nottingham still at large? Oh, no, my friends. There's too much work still to be done.
- Friar Tuck: But not now, surely.
- Robin Hood: Oh, no. Not now. Tomorrow.
- Friar Tuck: Ah, tomorrow. But, in the meantime, what about the wedding breakfast?
- Little John: Yes. Come on, lads.
