Der Mann im Strom

Adequate, but flat treatment of a script that should have deserved a better one. All the possibilities were there for good drama, but it is all too matter-of-fact. It seems like the makers did not have any heart and/or understanding of the script.

Hans Albers nearly saves this film, but not quite.
