The first Tom and Jerry cartoon to have a new opening theme song, which was used from Licencia Para Perro (1957), starring Spike and Tyke.

Tom's cousin sounds like Droopy the Dog, which isn't surprising since he was voiced by Bill Thompson (who also voiced Droopy).
The last Tom and Jerry cartoon to be animated by Irven Spence. Spence would later animate the Droopy shorts from 1957 to 1958.
