- Steve March: Now this is my plan: I want all of your uranium, plutonium, all your atomic resources. I want your factories, railroad shipping, all your industrial facilities. Your workers will labour around the clock day and night, following my blueprints to build a most powerful invasion force ever gathered in the universe.
- General Brown: You mean to enslave the world?
- Russian: Russia would never agree to it!
- Steve March: There's a simple answer to that: There'll be no Russia. Your United Nations building will be turned over to me. I will teach your engineers to build a fleet of interplanetary rockets, to be armed and manned by your joint military forces. All under my command.
- General Brown: What would you do with all this power?
- Steve March: I will return to my planet Arous, and through its vast intellect, I will become master of the universe. After I'm gone, your Earth will be free to live out its miserable span of existence, as one of my satellites, and that's how it's going to be.
- Steve March: Why me?
- Gor: Because you are a recognized nuclear scientist. Because you have operated places on Earth I want to go. I chose your body very carefully. Even before I knew about Sally, a very exciting female.
- Steve March: Leave Sally out of this.
- Gor: Why? She appeals to me. There are some aspects of the life of an Earth savage that are exciting and reward; things that are missed by the brains on my planet Arous.
- Sally Fallon: George! What about George?
- Vol: The dog? He *is* intelligent, devoted, strong...
- Sally Fallon: And he's *always* with Steve and me.

- Steve March: Checks out alright. I don't understand it. Hey, Dan, it doesn't make any sense.
- Dan Murphy: Mmhmm.
- Steve March: I said it doesn't make any sense. The Geiger counter's been going on and off all morning. And the nucleometer checks right along with it.
- Dan Murphy: Oh, you talk like a man with rocks in your head. Radioactivity's a constant thing. Either it's there...
- [the Geiger counter goes off]
- Steve March: Oh, yeah?
- Steve March: Turn the Geiger on again, will ya?
- Dan Murphy: It is on. Suddenly, it's cool as a well-digger's foot.
- Steve March: If you so much as touch Sally, I'll...
- Gor: It is you who were touching her. Even I must have some interest to spur me on. She'll do very nicely.
- Sheriff Wiley Pane: You're in a little trouble, Steve.
- Steve March: [possessed by Gor] Oh, no, I'm not. You're the one that's in trouble. Yeah. I killed Dan. I killed those people in that plane too. And now I'm going to kill you.
- Sheriff Wiley Pane: I'm taking you in, Steve.
- Steve March: Oh, no, you're not.
- Gor: Well, earthling. Tomorrow, there will be a new world. You people have small minds. You are unable to grasp the importance of today's events. You are about to succeed where Caesar, Napoleon, and Hitler have failed. Through me, you will have ruled the world. But I will rule the universe.

- Steve March: It's alright. It's all over. Oh, thank heavens I found your note. How did, how did you happen to know about the Fissure of Rolando?
- Sally Fallon: Vol.
- Steve March: Vol?
- Sally Fallon: Oh, that's right. You don't know about him. He's another brain from Planet Arous. He was watching over you in George's body.
- [whistles to George, the dog]
- Sally Fallon: George. Vol, tell Steve what you told me about Gor.
- [the dog pants, showing no signs of possession by Vol]
- Sally Fallon: Vol? George, speak to me.
- Steve March: [kissing Sally] You and your imagination.
